WHATS NEW?
==========
10/18/93
--------
Carrier loss detected when icons are being checked.
10/13/93
--------
After ICON check, users are shown how many icons are missing, and
an approximate update time. This is useful for low speed callers
so they can decide if they want to take the time to update.
10/9/93
-------
You can now customize the name of the "Grafitti Wall". Be sure
to update using BRAINEX.DAT dated after 10/8/93.
9/27/93
-------
Added a YES/NO return when answering yes or no to a prompt for
Rombrain/Request notices.
9/25/93
-------
Normally, icon detection checks the first icon in your icon directory
to see if it exists on the remote system.
Icon detection can now check for a specified icon first. If not found,
all icons will be checked. Be sure to update your BRAINEX.DAT with
one dated 9/23/93 or later. When you update Logbrain, you will be asked
for the specified icon name. Give the full drive, path and filename, or
NONE to not check for the specified icon.
9/3/93
------
Improved the icon check speed. The notice function uses a new format
for reading user request notices. Please be sure you update Rombrain
and Request.
8/16/93
-------
Be sure to install or update Log Brain using a BRAINEX.DAT file dated
after 8/10/93. See Log Brain.DOC for details.
Log Brain now incorporates the NOTICE program used by Rombrain and
Request. You no longer need to run NOTICE as a separate program.
Just include the SYSOP= parameter on the command line when you
run Log Brain. See LOGBRAIN.DOC for details.
8/11/93
-------
Rip support!
A new feature will check the remote caller to see if they have the
icons your BBS uses. You will need to place all of your system icons
in a control directory. See LOGBRAIN.DOC for details.
5/8/93
------
Modified Grafitti Wall prompt for clarity.
4/28/93
-------
Maintenance Release.
3/30/93
-------
Log Brain will automatically wait 5 seconds for users to answer Y or
N to enter the Graffiti Wall. If there is no response, the door will
exit. This is handy for nodes that may have automatic mailers.
You can change the default time by adding WAIT=x to the command line,
where x is equal to the seconds to wait.
Example:
Log Brain WAIT=10
BYPASSING Log Brain
==================
If you wish to not allow a user level to access the door, you may
use the SKIP= command on the command line.
Example:
Log Brain SKIP=40
Level 40 and below will not be allowed to access the door.
