  2.  Announcing - The IPAD Manager, by The Rock Software

  5.  Finally, a program that will help you better manage the excellent
  6.  capabilities of eSoft's IPAD.  Here's a few of the features of the
  7.  IPAD Manager:
  8.   
  9.  Easy installation via an installation program. The program will find
  10.  the file names and directories of your IPAD control files.  All you
  11.  have to know is what the drive letter and path is to IPAD.CTL.
  12.  
  13.  IPAD Manager allows you to import your current IPAD control files in
  14.  to the IPAD Manager database files. All you have to do is collect
  15.  their mailing information and set their expiration dates. IPAD Manager
  16.  will collect all the IPAD Information.

  18.  Allows ANSI and ASCII callers to your TBBS system to subscribe to your
  19.  IPAD services.  Your callers are presented with up to 6 subscription
  20.  choices and it supports the 4 major credit cards. The IPAD Manager will
  21.  check the validity of the card number and verify that it is not in the
  22.  internal Credit Card Trashcan file.

  24.  The system Administrator can also manually enter new accounts via the
  25.  IPAD Manager console and accept cash payments or void cash payments.

  27.  Adding an account manually is very easy. Just copy an account that is
  28.  similar and then edit it with the new information. The administrator may
  29.  also add a new customer as though he was a call in customer via add new
  30.  customer function.

  32.  Ipad Manager also has a new exciting feature that allows you to format
  33.  letter bodies in any format you wish and print letters, flat files, build
  34.  ascii files to import to any system you wish, using almost every database
  35.  field in your letter body. This means you may print letters, build comma-
  36.  delimited text files, etc. It is totally up to you to decide what kind of
  37.  format you wish to use.

  39.  Ipad Manager also allows a customer's account to have sub accounts. (ie)
  40.  A single billable account such as a parent may allow separate accounts
  41.  for children that expire and follow all permissions of the parents account.

  43.  Although the credit card numbers are fully encrypted on the database,
  44.  they are always decrypted in the IPAD Manager console.

  46.  As the system Administrator, you have complete control over all the
  47.  values to be placed into the POP3, FTP, SLIP/PPP Userlogs.

  49.  You have complete control over expiration dates of the subscriptions.

  51.  You have easy setup of POP3 Mail directories, as the IPAD Manager will
  52.  take care of this for you.

  54.  You do not have to check to see if a login name is in use, as the
  55.  caller picks one and IPAD Manager will check to see if it is in use.

  57.  You may allow a caller to have one login for all services (SLIP, FTP,
  58.  POP3) or distinctive logins for each.

  60.  Each Subscription level can have different pricing, time allowed,
  61.  number of usage days, but can allow or disallowed POP3, FTP or
  62.  SLIP/PPP. There are 6 levels for customers and an additional 10 levels that
  63.  can be used for leased services, web services etc.

  65.  Full statistics shows you, at a glance, just how your IPAD is being
  66.  used and how much activity is being generated. Statistics are gathered
  67.  by subscriber on a monthly basis and by the system as a whole. Stats are
  68.  also collected for the WWW-lite function of the IPAD.

  70.  Income statistics are available for the current month, any month or
  71.  for the entire year. You may also examine the system statistics for
  72.  any day or for the entire month at a glance. System statistics are
  73.  gathered for Incoming E-mail, Incoming Telnet, Incoming PPP, Customers
  74.  FTP, and Anonymous FTP, and Outgoing E-Mail, Telnet, PPP and SLIP.

  76.  You are also presented at a glance with how many Current E-mail, PPP
  77.  and FTP customers you have and how many Expired E-mail, PPP and FTP
  78.  customers you have in the system.

  80.  The IPAD Manager handle all the subscriber functions for the system
  81.  administrator.

  83.  The Ipad Manager allows you to do hourly billing with the accumilation
  84.  of the over time on a daily or monthly basis.

  86.  Allows multiple domains to be served. Subscribers can have their own
  87.  domain names and have the POP3 mail be addressed to those domains.

  89.  Full editing of subscribers accounts, allowing the administrator to
  90.  change settings of the customers at will.

  92.  Full editing of all system and subscription fees.
