  14.           The DEMO  version is  identical to  the production  version which
  15.           bears the  same version  number. However  it is  a demo  which is
  16.           provided so  that you  may evaluate  GAP to  see if it suits your
  17.           needs. As such, it is limited to 20 users in the User File.

  19.           The DEMO  version is  released with  a  restrictive  License.  In
  20.           short, this license allows you to use the software for evaluation
  21.           purposes only. The evaluation period will last for no longer than
  22.           30 days.

  24.           Because of  space limitations,  the Caller Analyzer and ISAM Pack
  25.           programs are  not included  in the  Demo Archives. These programs
  26.           are not necessary for proper evaluation.

  28.           If you  wish to  register GAP  Communications, please  read  this
  29.           Application and License Agreement carefully.

  59.           This legal  document is  an agreement  between you, the end user,
  60.           and GAP  Development Company.   By using the software provided by
  61.           GAP Development  Company, you  agree to become bound by the terms
  62.           of this  agreement, which  includes the  software license and the
  63.           disclaimer of warranty.

  65.           This agreement constitutes the complete agreement between you and
  66.           GAP Development  Company.   If you  do not  agree to the terms of
  67.           this agreement,  promptly return  the disks  and other items that
  68.           are part of this product.

  70.           This  product   may  not   be  copied,   reproduced,   disclosed,
  71.           transferred, or  reduced to any form, including electronic medium
  72.           or machine readable form, or transmitted or publicly performed by
  73.           any  means,  electronic  or  otherwise,  unless  GAP  Development
  74.           Company consents in writing, in advance.

  76.           This software  contains valuable  trade secrets  and  proprietary
  77.           information  and   is  protected   by  federal   copyright  laws.
  78.           Unauthorized use  of the software can result in civil damages and
  79.           criminal prosecution.

  81.           You may  use the  software on  a single  computer only.   If  the
  82.           single computer  on which  you use  this software is a multi-user
  83.           system, this License covers all users on THAT single system.

  85.           YOU MAY  NOT COPY  the software  programs, except  to  place  the
  86.           programs onto  your hard  disk and to make archival backup copies
  87.           onto floppy  disks for  your personal  use as  permitted by  this
  88.           License.  You may not grant sublicenses nor transfer the software
  89.           or related  materials in  any  form  to  any  person  unless  GAP
  90.           Development Company consents in writing, in advance.

  92.           This License  is effective  until terminated.  This License  will
  93.           terminate automatically  if you fail to comply with any provision
  94.           of this License.

  96.           SUMMARY OF LIMITED WARRANTY:

  98.           In summary,  the software  is licensed  AS  IS.    THERE  ARE  NO
  99.           WARRANTEES, EXPRESS  OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE
  100.           IMPLIED  WARRANTIES   OF  MERCHANTIBILITY   AND  FITNESS   FOR  A
  101.           PARTICULAR PURPOSE,  AND ALL  SUCH WARRANTIES  ARE EXPRESSLY  AND
  102.           SPECIFICALLY  DISCLAIMED.  IN  NO  EVENT  SHALL  GAP  DEVELOPMENT
  103.           COMPANY BE  RESPONSIBLE FOR  ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR
  104.           CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES  OR LOST PROFITS TO YOU OR ANY OTHER PERSON
  105.           OR ENTITY  REGARDLESS OF  THE LEGAL  THEORY, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN
  106.           ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE.

  108.           No dealer,  company or  person is  authorized to  expand or alter
  109.           either   these   warranties   or   this   agreement;   any   such
  110.           representation will not bind GAP Development Company.
  111.                        Product Support And Pricing Information

  114.           With the  registration of  GAP  Communications  version  6.5  and
  115.           above,   you will receive, for a period of one year, free updates
  116.           to the program as well as access to the support board operated by
  117.           GAP Development  Company. Updates  may  be  downloaded  from  the
  118.           Support Board  or you  may arrange  for Disk Upgrade Service at a
  119.           nominal charge. In addition, you will receive direct attention to
  120.           any problems, ideas, or wishes from one of the developers.

  122.           After the  first year,  it will be necessary to renew the product
  123.           support agreement.
  124.  
  125.           GAP Communications comes in many versions to fulfill the needs of
  126.           the sysops.  The various versions are priced as follows:

  149.                IBM  AT or 100% compatible (386 required to run Multi User
  150.                under a Multi Tasking system such as Desqview).

  162.           The Multi  User versions  of GAP  are not  Multi Tasking, meaning
  163.           they require  either a  Network or some sort of Multi Tasker such
  164.           as Desqview. (Multi Taskers are not recommended).

  166.           GAP was designed to be run on a dedicated computer.  As such, the
  167.           sysop should  keep his TSR programs down to a minimum (or not use
  168.           them at  all).  A good disk cache program is an exception to this
  169.           rule.
