│ INTRODUCTION │
└──────────────┘
GAPQR is a tool for the SysOp or developer who has a need for
immediate access to the GAP BBS v6.x Intelligent Questionaire
commands. GAPQR is a TSR Pop-Up which is instantly available
after the initial loading is performed by pressing the
<ALT><DEL> key combination. GAPQR uses approximately 40k of
your ram. It does not swap the code to EMS/XMS when it is
"popped down" since it is anticipated that enough RAM will be
available to operate any programs needed.
GAPQR is not a simple "help" utility. It has the capability
to transfer the questionaire command to your work surface.

│ OPERATION │
└───────────┘
You start GAPQR by typing "GAPQR" and pressing the ENTER key.
You will see a message that GAPQR is installed, press
<ALT><DEL> to activate. Remember this keystroke sequence!
As you are using a text or graphics editor, or perhaps some
other application, a need might arise for you to insert one
of GAP's questionaire commands. Some of these you will become
very familiar with while others might be rarely used or
needed. To see and scroll through the commands, press the
<ALT><DEL> key combination.
The screen partially clears and the GAPQR screen is displayed
The top of the "window" lists the available commands. These
are the Up/Down arrow keys, the PgUp/PgDn keys, the HOME key,
the ESC key and the SPACE bar. Utilize the cursor movement
keys to locate a macro you wish to use. Then without exiting
GAPQR with the ESC key, press the SPACE bar.
You will now see the top line of the scrolling window
displayed with a contrasting background. You may use the
Up/Down arrow keys to position the cursor "onto" the command
you wish to use. Once you have positioned your cursor, press
the SPACE bar once again and the command you selected will be
transferred to the LAST cursor position on your application's
work surface.
If you decide NOT to transfer a macro, simply press the ESC
key to return to the initial scrolling window.
