  8.  need to download and install FJVB5LIB.ZIP in order for this product to run
  9.  correctly. However, if you had a previous version of this New Fileman
  10.  installed, chances are that the runtime libraries already exist on your

  75.  setup.exe. Also, delete the old \fileman directory and any remaining
  76.  leftover file contents of this directory before you run setup.exe. I
  77.  am asking this as I want to make sure this version of setup.exe is now
  78.  installing properly. :)

  85.  Ok folks here's the first release of the new Fileman.
  86.  I would strongly recommend that you allow fileman to be installed in the
  87.  \tribbs\fileman directory so it will not overwrite the dos version of
  88.  fileman.exe files during our alpha testing cycle.. We got a long way to
  89.  yet before we can replace our dos version.
  90.  
  91.  Please do not pass or give this alpha out.. These alpha updates are for
  92.  Alpha testers only!
  93.  
  94.  Also, you will need to put a copy of sysdat2.dat into the new fileman
  95.  directory that points to Node 1's main directory.. Not doing so will cause
  96.  FileMan not to be able to find the TriBBS system data files.
  97.  
  98.  Finally, after Setup is complete, you will see some files in the new fileman
  99.  directory with these following extensions.. *.CNT, *.HLP, *.DLL, *.EXE. Do
  100.  Not delete any of these files or FileMan will not run properly.. The other
  101.  DLL's included with Setup.exe will be placed into your \windows\system
  102.  directory.

  104.  This first alpha will do the following:
  105.  
  106.   Save & Quit
  107.   Quit Without Saving
  108.  
  109.   Delete Files
  110.   Delete Files - Files List Only
  111.   Move Files
  112.  
  113.   Creates an index.bat file which will call makeidx.exe and master.exe at
  114.   the closing of fileman if any changes were made and allows you to select
  115.   either yes/no to perform the the reindexing. This will open in a dos shell
  116.   since these utils are still dos based. Once it is complete, then you will
  117.   have to close the dos shell.

  119.  As we progress, I will add other commands to the Menus of FileMan. However,
  120.  I don't want to rush through this as it is very important that we work out
  121.  all bugs and/or problems with the current functions first before I start
  122.  adding more code. :) Good Luck and I really hope to get some feed back from
