  7. CHANGE IN SUBMISSION MODES
  8.    APRIL, 2006
  9.    Due to the decreasing number of submissions via netmail, the echolist robot
  10.    no longer accepts crash netmail.  Moderators are encouraged to use email
  11.    for faster turn around and better security than netmail.
  12.  
  13. DATE SENSITIVE MATERIAL
  14.     Effective January, 2005. Date sensitive information about the echolist
  15.     is now contained the in ELHIxxx.TXT file.
  16.  
  17. CHANGE IN EMAIL ADDRESSES
  18.    In June, 2004 the echolist email address was changed to
  19.    echolist@fidonet.us and the email of the Echolist Keeper is now
  20.    fidonet@fidonet.us
  21.  
  22. SOME BAD DATES IN JANUARY 2003
  23.    Due to a hardware error, the Echolist Robot was using dates in
  24.    2002 instead of 2003 from January 3, 2003 through January 10, 2003.
  25.    Between MODerator UPDates resubmitted and editing of the database,
  26.    it appears that all information in the database is correct.
  27.  
  28.    Echoes deleted and relisted by other than the moderator are subject
  29.    to return to the original moderator if deemed appropriate by the
  30.    Echolist Keeper.

  32. ECHOLIST HISTORY FILE RESTORED
  33.    The history file used to produce various Echolist Reports was
  34.    restored for the July, 2002 issue.
  35.  
  36. ECHOLIST HISTORY FILE CORRUPT - April, 2002
  37.    The history file used to produce various Echolist reports was
  38.    corrupted sometime in the first week or April, 2002.  Thus, many
  39.    of the monthly reports are missing.  Please consult the master
  40.    Echolist which contains accurate information

  42. ECHOLIST SYSTEM CRASH
  43.    Subsequent to the the creation of the Echolist in NOVEMBER,
  44.    1:261/1352 suffered a TOTAL system crash.  All MODerator UPDate,
  45.    MODerator DELete messages, ECHOlist QUERIES and rules
  46.    submissions that were submitted on or after NOVEMBER 1, 2001
  47.    (10/01/2001) were lost.

  49.    The ECHOLIST Database was last backed up on NOVEMBER 30, 2001
  50.    (09/30/2001) when ELIST110.ZIP was created.

  52. ECHOLIST SYSTEM RESUMES OPERATION
  53.    The Echolist system resumed operation on NOVEMBER 28, 2001
  54.    (10/28/2001)
  55.  
  56.    When the ECHOLIST system resumed operations on NOVEMBER 28, 2001
  57.    it received both netmail and email messages that were on hold
  58.    at the respective uplinks.  These messages will be processed in
  59.    the month of DECEMBER, 2001.

  61.    It is important to note that many messages that were sent via
  62.    Crash Netmail and/or email may not be in either the database or
  63.    in the messages due to be processed.

  65.    Moderators who made submissions between OCTOBER 1, 2001 and
  66.    OCTOBER 28, 2001 are urged to resubmit their updates to 1:1/21
  67.    or via email to echolist@fidonet.us
  68.  
  69.    Affected moderators should also submit the response from the
  70.    Echolist Robot to them to the Echolist Keeper at 1:261/1352 or
  71.    via email to echolist AT tlchost.net
  72.  
  73.    Should a conflict in listings occur, the Echolist Keeper will
  74.    use message dates and confirmation messages as a tool to
  75.    determine the most correct updates.
  76.  
  77. NAME CHANGE
  78.    Effective MAY, 2001 The Echolist has been renamed
  79.    The International Echolist to more accurately reflect the
  80.    international nature of its contents.
