  1. RULES OF THE SURVIVOR ECHO
  2. SURVIVOR is a mutual support echo for people who are experiencing or
  3. who have an interest in adversity.  The content of the echo may be
  4. quite varied, but all material must have some bearing on surviving
  5. adversity.
  6. We participate in SURVIVOR to share our experiences and our insights
  7. so that we can grow and learn together, therefore we maintain a
  8. supportive environment in this echo.
  9. We recognize the right and responsibility of the individual to make
  10. his or her own choices, and we respect one another's point of view.
  11. No participants will be included or excluded on the basis of their
  12. vital statistics, ethnic origin, religious beliefs, medical history,
  13. and/or sexual preferences.
  14. Sex, religion, and politics are off topic except by prior arrangment
  15. with the moderators.
  16. No form of proselytizing is allowed, including (but not limited to)
  17. advertisements for commercial products and/or commercial services,
  18. advertisements for religious literature, and "witnessing for Christ"
  19. or otherwise seeking converts to any one religion in particular.
  20. The use of pseudonyms is permissible in this echo, but no messages may
  21. be posted from an "anonymous remailer".
  22. Rulings by the moderator(s) are not open for discussion in the echo.
  23. If you have a problem with a ruling, please discuss it in netmail.
