  17.     This is a non-confrontational echo.  If you choose to use this
  18.     echo, then please conduct yourself according to these rules. If
  19.     these rules do not suit you, then please feel free to take 
  20.     advantage of other  echoes or nets.  Confrontational activity 
  21.     constitutes grounds for punitive action.

  23.     Your use of this echo is by implied consent.  IE:  you are 
  24.     implying that you consent to obey the rules by your use of this 
  25.     echo.

  27.     1)  Keep to the topic, our Right To Keep and Bear Arms. 
  28.         If you want to bring something up that isn't OBVIOUSLY tied to
  29.         the topic -- then make it obvious.

  31.         E.G., if the discussion of the bombing in OKLA. comes up, 
  32.         please make sure to tie it into RTKBA and not wander all over 
  33.         the place with it.

  35.     2)  Play nice.  Let's leave the personalities out of the 
  36.         discussions. If confused, see paragraph one above.
  37.  
  38.     3)  If you claim something as a fact, substantiate it with the 
  39.         reference material.  This applies especially to statistics -- 
  40.         they need to be verifiable, and/or direct quote citations.

  42.         Note that this area is for the free exchange of information 
  43.         and ideas.  It is not for attempting to impress the other 
  44.         participants with your cleverness with the English language or 
  45.         debate obfuscation technique.

  47.     4)  Selective quoting for the sake of manipulating the discussion 
  48.         is frowned upon.  So, too, is quoting to excess.  Quotes need 
  49.         to be relevant and succinct.

  51.     5)  Receiving several posts with valid, and substantiated, 
  52.         counterpoints citing source material should either be answered 
  53.         in kind or gracefully acknowledged.

  55.         Saying that you haven't seen them is a cop out.  Neither the 
  56.         moderator nor the other participants will buy that one for 
  57.         long.

  59.     6)  This area may not be used for any commercial or personal 
  60.         enterprises for any reason, with the single exception of 
  61.         raising funds for the protection of our second amendment 
  62.         rights.

  64.     7)  Illegal stuff:  Keep it legal.  If you're not sure -- apply 
  65.         some common sense -- ASK FIRST!

  67.         DO NOT post anything on construction of any form of weapons in 
  68.         this echo. At best, these are technical issues.  At worst, such
  69.         posts may be illegal.  Violation of this is cause for immediate
  70.         ejection from the echo.

  72.         If you are going to post copyrighted material, get permission 
  73.         first.

  75.     8)  Any discussion about the overthrow of the government will be 
  76.         frowned upon.  The moderator of this echo understands that 
  77.         some reference may be made on this subject when discussing 
  78.         Jeffersonian ideology.

  82.         Any complaints/suggestions about the rules, the moderation,
