  1.                    EC_SUPPORT CONFERENCE RULES

  3.   1) This is a Support echo for Ezycom BBS Software by Peter Davies  and
  4.   any  related utilities that come within the  Ezycom  release  archives
  5.   Utilities written by third  party  authors  are  now supported  in  the
  6.   EC_UTIL echomail conference.
  7.  
  8.   2)  When announcing Files for FREQ, please be sure to state: File Name,
  9.   File Size, Modem Speed & Hours Available
  10.  
  11.   3)  Quoting. Do not quote too much of a message. This conference is an
  12.   International conference and some has to foot the bill to move it from
  13.   one country to the next.  Just Quote enough to remind the receiver  of
  14.   the  subject.  Please also check that the SUBJECT header also  matches
  15.   the content of the message!

  17.   4) Test messages are *not* to be sent in this conference.

  19.   5)  Please leave All moderating  to  the  Moderator(s)!  Much  of  the
  20.   Moderating is handled via Netmail,  so if you do not see a response to
  21.   an off topic message, do not assume that there has not been one.

  23.   6) 'Flames' belong in Netmail, not this conference!

  25.   7)  EC_SUPPORT is a real conference,  please use your REAL  name.  ie:
  26.   Aliases are not permitted!
  27.  
  28.   8)  Any  message  entered  from  your  system  should  contain  enough
  29.   information for a netmail reply.  Please use a valid Fidonet or EZYNET
  30.   AKA in your origin line
  31.  
  32.   9) Threads concerned with whether or not Peter has $50,000 to invest in
  33.   Marketing Ezycom in a shareware or commercial environment are OFF  TOPIC. 
  34.  
  35.  10) Threads concerning which is the better operating system are OFF TOPIC.
  36.  (ie: operating system 'wars' are off topic!)
