  7. This is the FidoNet InterNational File  Announcement  echo, EchoTag
  8. ALLFIX_FILE,  coordinated  out  of 1:3830/5  by  Jeff Schrunk. This
  9. echo  is  for the announcement of various files on systems that are
  10. currently running ALLFIX(c) File Processor or some other compatible
  11. processor.
  12.  
  13. ** All systems carrying the FidoNet "ALLFIX_FILE" echo should  post
  14. the rules to this echo in a place that all Users that call your BBS
  15. can view so they know this is a SysOp post ONLY echo.

  17. ALLFIX_FILE Echo Rules:
  18. -----------------------
  19. 1.  No flames or personal attack or insult. If anyone has a problem
  20. with another in this echo send netmail to the Moderator and he
  21. will deal with it out of the echo.
  22.  
  23. 2.  NO illegal activity or item may be advertised.  Any
  24. person breaking this rule will be immediately removed
  25. from the echo.  No warnings, no exceptions.
  26.  
  27. 3.  Taglines that are inflammatory or otherwise judged inappropriate
  28. in the echo by the other sysops of the net shall be prohibited. If in 
  29. doubt as to whether yours might be in violation ask yourself "would
  30. this be likely to bother others".

  32. 4.  Quoting is not allowed generally unless there is a problem with a
  33. ALLFIX_FILE message that a user or sysop has sent.  If quoting is done
  34. it must be limited to the part of a message that one is replying to 
  35. and may not exceed 25% of the original message.

  37. 5.  Testing (test messages) of individual systems in this echo are
  38.     NOT ALLOWED!!!  PERIOD!!!!
  39.  
  40. 6.  No BBS Ads
  41.  
  42. 7.  Be friendly.
  43.  
  44. 8.  New File Announcements ONLY.  No Filefind requests of any kind.
  45.  
  46. 9.  Arguing with the moderator in the echo is defined as
  47. "excessively annoying" and may result in the immediate cutting of feeds.

  50. Strong suggestions:    (Not mandatory, unless they are abused)

  53. 1.  Don't take offense at some things that are said. If it offends
  54. you then just ignore it.
  55.  
  56. 2.  Flaming someone because you feel that their point is wrong with what
  57. you think could cost you access to ALLFIX_FILE.
  58.  
  59. 3.  Hold down the Ascii Art.  Some systems choke on the
  60. wrong characters.

  63. I'll add or subtract from this list as necessary from time to
  64. time. All of your input is appreciated.

  66. ** Persons breaking the rules will be first publicly warned in this
  67. echo. A subsequent violation by the same person will result in
  68. a personal netmail warning being sent out. A third infraction of
  69. the rules will result in that person being removed from the echo.
  70. Any such requests will be sent in netmail.

  74. "excessively annoying".
