Welcome to The Dnd Door Version 4.4!
Before entering into the magic realm of fantasy gaming, you must first start a
player character for adventuring with. This system will first ask you for your
'Codename' and 'Password'. The codename is an alternative from your real name.
The password is a long word you can easily remember and must be kept secret to
yourself to protect your codename.
Next you will be asked a series of questions about classnames, statistics, and
other data. These are reasonably obvious because there are choices and options
to be made. Enter the data as best as you can.
Finally you enter the adventure. During this time you can ask for information,
Type the words Help, Catalog, Commands, or Hint to get further information and
help with the game. There are over 100 keywords, or 'commands' your player can
use to get around in the game.
The copyright notices are exempt and no longer packaged with this dungeons and
dragons door system. Please try to upload the whole dnd system as it was found
and add any extra files as the user or sysop sees beneficial.
This adventure system can be the key to your imagination and a vehicle to your
ideas. There are many ways of using this game. Each character player fights to
increase in levels of expertise by conquering monsters in the game, adventures
by discovery from exploring hidden castles and mansions, and becoming the best
player by points score in the top ten ranking list.
Start your playing experience out right. Try some basic adventuring commands..
Look, Information, Inventory.
The room description will be displayed when you first enter the game and every
time you enter a new room. Use directions to move from room to room:
North, East, South, West, Out, Up, Down,
Northeast, Southeast, Northwest, Southwest.
Encountering monsters is the basic part of adventuring. Try adding the monster
name to these commands:
Kill, Attack, Thrust, Charge.
For example: Kill Bandit. (The bandit is displayed in the room description).
There are hundreds of rooms, doors, portals, scrolls, potions, swords, armors,
shields, traps, and many more treasures, objects, and monsters in the game. To
become more knowledgable in the game try some commands like these:
Search, Hide, Backstab, Run, Hold, Wear.
Remember, some or most commands require another word or two because the system
needs additional information, for example: Hold Dagger.
