  1. The \yeNew\no command allows you to get a listing of "new" files since the last
  2. time you logged on, or since any specified date.

  4. To use the New command, answer the prompt with the desired target date. The 
  5. date shown in brackets, which is the date you last logged on, is used as the 
  6. default date if you press RETURN. A second prompt appears, "Scan all 
  7. directories (Y/N)"- if you enter Y, all directories will be searched for new 
  8. files, otherwise only the current directory is searched.

  10. Dates are entered in the form month-day-year. You can use dashes, slashes, 
  11. or any nonnumeric seperators. If you don't include the year (e.g., "9/21"), 
  12. it defaults to the current year.

  14. The new file listing appears in reverse date-sorted order. It is often useful
  15. to run the New command with a very early target date, as this gives you a 
  16. chronological file listing rather than an alphabetical listing as with the 
  17. FILES command.
