This area allows you to edit the computer names used in the BBSStat file.
For use if you add or alter the names of the computer type
choices when a new user signs up.
This area defines the names you want to be used in your G-Files.
If you have monitor G-Files set to yes in the general defaults then
if you change anything in here the next time the program is run the
new descriptions will be entered into the BBS automatically.
This is the sub-menu for defining the colors you wish to be used.
Areas 1-3 setup the colors you want to use in the output files. Area 4
shows you the colors that are available based on user #1's settings in the
BBS. Area 5 is for those who have added more colors and want to see what
they will look like as well. Since they are not a standard you must tell
the program what you want. You can enter them by selecting a forground/
background colors or by a number from 0-255.
This is a basic layout of the main set of files. It will give you an idea
of what the files will look like before they are made. You can press <ESC>
to get out or A-H to edit the colors of any of the fields. Valid color
ranges are 0-9 for std colors and A-Z for ext colors. The only way you will
see the ext colors is if you set them up in area 5 'Edit /Display extended
colors'.
This is a basic layout of the bbsstat file. It will give you an idea of what
this file will look like before it is made. You can press <ESC> to get out
or A-M to edit the colors of any of the fields. Valid color ranges are 0-9
for std colors and A-Z for ext colors. The only way you will see the ext
colors is if you set them up in area 5 'Edit /Display extended colors'.
This is a basic layout of the activity file. It will give you an idea of
what this file will look like before it is made. You can press <ESC> to get
out or A-? to edit the colors of any of the fields. Valid color ranges are
0-9 for std colors and A-Z for ext colors. The only way you will see the ext
colors is if you set them up in area 5 'Edit /Display extended colors'.
The list of colors here is based on the user #1 account. In event this
accunt could not be read it will default to WWIV defaults. I doubt this
will ever happen since the program won't work right unless it can access
the users, but is there so nothing screws up if something weird does
happen. This is only a display. To change them you must do so from your
defaults in the BBS.
This area is for those of you who have added the colors A-Z to your board.
Since there is no way of automatically entering this info you must do
so manually. The only thing this is used for is to setup the colors you
wish to use in the output files. Not setting this up will in no way alter
the look of the files. It is for your convience only.
This area allows you to toggle the speeds you wish to be added to the BBSStat
file. This is automatically setup when the USERSTAT.CFG file is made. This
just allows you to add/remove any of them. Like if you don't want 300 baud
users to show up and/or mod your BBS and don't want to see them then turn it
off. When the speeds are added to the file they will be aligned 3 to a row
no matter what settings you have so don't worry about creating a gap in the
lists by turning off one in the middle of the list. The last option will
just re-read your modem files and setup the speeds your BBS can use. Just
use the arrows and move to this line then press 'Y' and <Enter> and it will
do the rest. This can be used if you upgrade your modem and want the program
to do the work for you.
Record num [max=7 ]- Current record number/date info on lower half of screen.
Enter # or use the [/] keys to goto the prev/next rec.
[max=#] is the max record number you can enter.
Include local calls - Add local logons to logon time data being recorded.
ACT cycle (D,W,M,Y) - When to reset Act file. (Daily,Weekly,Monthly,Yearly)
*NOTE* If this is changed and you exit the config area
it will erase all old data.
Reset ACT on cycle - Once all data is collected for a cycle the start of the
next cycle will erase old data.
ACT graph char - Character to be used in making the graph and its
background.
One way to modify the graph forground/background characters is to use the
ALT key with the number keypad to the right of your keyboard. To do this
press the ALT key and hold it. Then type a number on the keypad. Finially
release the Alt key and your character will show up. Valid characters are
from 0 to 255 (NOTE that all numbers do not produce a displayable character).
Some sample number are: 176 ░ 177 ▒ 178 ▓ 250 · 219 █
254 ■ is default graph character and 249 ∙ is default background character
This area will let you toggle on/off the files that you want to make. Say
you don't have any files then you can turn off everything that has to do
with the files.
