TLM-Tic is a .TIC file processor that imports files into a WWIV BBS.
The software is very straight forward. Place the TLM-TIC.EXE and TLM-TIC.INI
files in your BBS directory, and edit the TLM-TIC.INI file included in the
archive.
The file has two sections, [GENERAL] and [AREAS]. It's easier to show than
explain. Here's a sample section....
[GENERAL]
TICDIR C:\FD\FILES
ALLOWOVERWRITE YES
[AREAS]
;WWIV FILENAME FIDO AREANAME
;--------------------------------
FIDONEWS FIDONEWS
NBN_FILE NBN_FILE
NODEDIFF NODEDIFF
Under [GENERAL], there are only two options. One is TICDIR, which defines
where the .TIC files are stored when your Front-End recieves them. The
ALLOWOVERWRITE option specifies whether TLM-Tic should overwrite existing
files in the WWIV download areas.
The [AREAS] section defines which areas TLM-Tic should accept files for.
The format is very simple. The first option defines the filename that
WWIV uses to store the data for the area it should be uploaded to. The
second option defines the Filebone area name.
That's all there is to it. This software is Copyright (c) 1996 TLM Software,

may be freely distributed so long as all files are included in the same
archive, and no files have been changed.
