  2. This Text file is for Nodes wishing to join PervNet, and it being thier first
  3. network.

  7. Step 1: Create a Directory for PervNet (ex. C:\BBS\PERV)
  8. Step 2: Buckle your shoe ( Sometimes, it's hard to resist lame humor)
  9. Step 3: Place all Files contained in the PervNet Zip file into your new Dir.
  10. Step 4: You must have a copy of Net36 (Or higher) inorder to run a WWIVnetwork
  11.         So, if you have your Net36 unzip it into your main BBS dir.
  12. Step 5: Go into your INIT.EXE and select option N for Updateing Networks.
  13.         Choose Insert so you can add PervNet in. Tell it that it is a WWIVnet
  14.         style Network. (If you choose FIDO, you are in for a lot of Problems.)
  15.         Basically, you want it to kinda resemble this:

  17. Network Type:  WWIVnet
  18. Network Name:  PervNet
  19. Network Node:  1
  20. Data Directory: C:\BBS\PERV

  22.        Now, I know that it won't look exactlly like my Example, but hey, you
  23. have the idea now.

  25. Step 6: In your main BBS Dir. Run Network3 to process all the info you just
  26.         did.

  28. Step 7: Grab the nearest living lifeform you can grab and give it a big hug or 
  29.         Highfive, you just installed your 1st Network.

  32.      If any Problems occur, or it just wants to be a Pain in the rear, please
  33. contact your nearest AC, GC, Your Connecting system, or me. If this is to be a
  34. problem, and all else fails, Refer to the WWIV Network Doc's.

  36.      Also, as a Good habit to have, Make sure you have a copy (Back up) of
  37. anything you are playing with.

  39. And a needless (But, now that I say that, I better put this in) disclaimer:

  42. like a Hog. Don't look at me, don't look at him, It prolly should have never
  43. been.
