  13. Well, guess what, I bought this software lock stock and barrel.  I would use
  14. the old what's new file, but it sounded like dialogue that Jason had said
  15. (almost as if he was talking to you as I am at this moment), so I decided to
  16. re-write them.  I figure that the old stuff is worthless, so I am not going to
  17. even bother worying about the pre-2.3 in this doc.

  19. LinkUp 2.4 WHAT'S NEW

  21. 1) INI support is, more or less, perfected.  The few bugs I could not work out
  22. I just used the old code to make them hard coded into the source.  Other than
  23. that, it is working.  A sample INI file with comments is included and it is
  24. discussed in the docs.  I didn't fully implement it, but the parts that are
  25. changable from the INI are working perfectly.

  27. 2) Changed a few things in the subs update section.  First of all, with the
  28. release of NET35, the network automaticly deleted the SUBS.INF packet if the
  29. file didn't already exist.  The old versions simply created another one, but
  30. Wayne decided to change that in NET35.  Now, LinkUp simply creates a blank
  31. one when you tell it to send a netwide ping.

  33. 3) Everything now says Imagination Industries Software and Chavous Camp instead
  34. of WhelanSoft Technologies and Jason Whelan.

  36. 4) The DE files now clear the line the network2 display is on instead of going
  37. to a new line before outputting the message that it had recieved an update.
  38. Makes it look slightly more like the "BIG" guys.

  40. That's about all the changes I made.  (actually, the first change was made
  41. mostly by Jason, but I fixed all the bugs I inherited when I bought the
  42. program).
