"Inflogin" (for WWIV Version 4.23) is Copyright (c) 1993 by Matt Lampiasi.
Registration is Five U.S. Dollars. If you use it- Pay.
That's pretty cheap for you (most likely), and a lot for me.

Installation is simple:
Stick the programm AND the "Inflogin.Cfg" into
your bbs directory and also add it to your logon batch file.
If you don't have a logon batch file peruse the WWIV Documentation.
Or, use it as the primary logon event...Again, See WWIV
Documentation for details if you don't understand this..
The InfLogin.Cfg file need only have 3 lines. See the sample one I
have included for instructions..
You need to have your bbs's directory in a directory on your path
statement as it is declared in autoexec.bat. If you don't know what
this means ask a fellow sysop or check your DOS Manual.
The program is specifically oriented for the new (4.23) version of
WWIV BBS Software (Copyright Wayne Bell of WWIV Software Services).
Meaning: This program searches your path directories for all 3
of the following:
Door.Sys
Dorinfo1.Def
Chain.Txt
If you don't have version 4.23 of WWIV Try obtaining a program that
will create these for you. There are a few of them around...
There are a couple (only) variables that may change the
appearance of the Program. If your system does NOT allow aliases
then instead of seeing " How ARE you <alias>? " You will see:
"Alias's not allowed - REAL NAMES ONLY". And vice versa of course.
If you have "Extended user Info" set to "NO" in INIT then
you will see "Press Enter to Continue...". However if you DO have
extended user info enabled you will see: "Peace to you and everyone
in <the_user's_city_and_state>...".
Setting security level display info is explained in the sample
config file you should also have: "InfLogin.Cfg"
That's Pretty much it.
If, and ONLY IF you are a college student also (1/2 Time- Full Time)
Consider yourself exempt from any obligation of registration.
Thanks for using it!
-Matt.
