1) Copy all files into The Casino's own directory.
2) Run CRCSETUP.EXE to customize the config file for your system.
3) Create a batch file to run the game.
The basic batch file will look something like this:
@echo off
cd\bbs\doors\casino [change to the game directory]
casino /Pc:\bbs [execute The Casino- drop file is in c:\bbs]
cd\bbs [change back to the bbs' directory]
board [reactivate the bbs]
*** NOTE: if running multinode, you MUST have SHARE.EXE in memory ***

In your batch file, you will want to specify the path to the drop file as a
command line parameter. example: "CASINO /PC:\TRIBBS"
That is... "CASINO /P" + the path to the drop file with no space.

1. IRQs 0-15 are supported.
2. Comports 1-4 supported.
3. Selectable port addresses.
4. DESQview-aware routines.
5. Detects Rip and adjusts font to full screen.
6. Lock baud and comm baud rates to 115,200.
7. Built in Windows, WindowsNT, OS/2, DOS 5.0+ time slice releasing.
8. Fossil support to 38,400 using normal fossil calls.
9. Fossil support to 115,200 using extended fossil calls. Use XFossil
for any fossils (X00 or BNU) over 38,400. This option does not open
or close the fossil but merely writes to it the way it is.
10. The local video screen can be toggled off to save processing time
in multitasking windows or to give some user privacy when competing
in games against the sysop.
11. Multiple config files can be accessed by a command line parameter.
12. Will work with OR without the presence of a fossil.

│ Command Line Parameters │█
└───────────────────────────────────────────┘█
▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀
Castle Rock Casino supports several parameters which may be specified on
the command line. The following is a list of those parameters; many of
these can be set in CRCSETUP.EXE and are not necessary as a parameter:
"/Cx" (where x is 1-4) This specifies a comport number. Some BBS
software does not create door information files (drop files) that
contain the comport number. If your BBS does have the comport
listed in the drop file then there is no need for this parameter.
The default is comport 0, local mode.
"/E" Expanded Memory Specification. If your system has over 1 Meg of
memory, then you may have some available. The Casino can utilize
EMS to improve game performance and reduce conventional memory
requirements. This command will tell The Casino to use EMS memory
to hold its overlay buffer. Otherwise, disk area may be used to
hold this buffer. This needs a memory manager when enabled, and
is compatible with DESQview.
"/L" This tells The Casino to start up in LOCAL mode. This is good for
testing or when a Sysop just wants to "try out" the door without
messing with his BBS setup. The "/L" mode will ask the user for
his name and run the door in local mode.
"/Nx" (where x is 1-9) This specifies a node number. Some BBS software
supports multinode environments in which you must know the node
number of the drop file to use. For an example, RBBS-PC uses
DORINFOx.DEF. If you used "/N2", The Casino would use DORINFO2.DEF.
"/Mx" (where x is up to 2 filename valid characters) Used to specify
one of multiple config files. If you have created more than one
CASINO.CFG file, i.e. CASINO1.CFG, CASINO2.CFG, etc. for each node
or network PC, then you can select the one you want by using the
/M parameter.
Example: "/M2" will force The Casino to use CASINO2.CFG.
"/Px" This specifies the path to the drop files.
For example: "/PC:\WILDCAT\WCWORK\NODE1" would tell The Casino to
look for the drop file in C:\WILDCAT\WCWORK\NODE1. If this is left
out, The Casino assumes the drop file is local.
"/V" This command tells The Casino not to show any display on the local
screen. Only a colored screen with a message will be displayed.
The cursor will not move, as it will be turned off. This saves a
little processing time on multitasking systems.
"/W" This flags the program that a network is present even though no
multitaskers are detected. This is useful if the door is run on
a network such as Novell that doesn't use multitaskers.

If an abnormal exit occurs, that is, other than exiting from the overhead
or by running out of time, a file named ERROR.LOG will be generated holding
information that may help us track down the origin of the problem.
If you need assistance, please have the error file available.
