EBBSLIST HISTORY
────────────────
v1.0 - Released on January 14, 1993. First version!
Version 2.0 is on it's way very soon!
v2.0 - Released on October 19, 1993.
EBBSList v2.0 now has:
* HotKeys on the main menu.
* BBS List downloading capabilities via ZMODEM, XMODEM, YMODEM.
* All new BBS input screen, much nicer!
* Search now searches every single word or number for the specified string.
* <I>nformation on BBS command now displays EVERY BBS info that matches string.
v3.0 - Released on December 28, 1993.
X I have fixed a couple of things in the chat.
X Now has the ability to erase a BBS along with it's extended
description. (REGISTERED version only)
X EBBSList can now create an ANSI and ASCII (text) bulletin either
manually or through the nightly event.
X When displaying the list you will now see what percent of the list
has been shown.
X Added a color toggle selection at the menu. Users can now toggle
between color and non-color screens while in the door.
X If the user is in using RIP graphics mode when DOOR.SYS is created
EBBSList will identify this and automatically switch to ANSI mode.
X EBBSList is halfway multinode. It might lock up on very few
occasions even though it works great under DESQview.
X EBBSList will now sort any BBS entered along with it's description.
X Changed the way that the list is displayed so that instead of clearing
the whole screen before showing the next page it will just write over
the previous page thus making the screen come up quicker.
X Added the ability to view all extended descriptions rather than
having to search for a specific one.
Coming in the future.........
-> External Protocol Configuration
-> Support for IRQ and non-standard COM Ports. (If you have a non-standard
COM port and would like to run the door, please give me a call and I
will make a seperate copy just for you.)
-> Scrollable BBS listing. Can go back and forth on the list by using
arrow keys.
-> and any other ideas that might be suggested........
