The DeAdZoNe Utilities for RemoteAccess
=======================================
{ D-DooR - History }
{ Top Doors and Top Door User Bulletins for RemoteAccess }
{ Copyright 1991-93 Victor Magdic. All Rights Reserved }
Changes in v4.00
----------------
* NOTE: If you are upgrading from a version prior to 3.70, you will
have to erase your old user data file (DDOOR_NA.DAT -note you DO NOT
have to delete your old door-data-file DDOOR_ID.DAT).
* Most of the previous command line parameters have been moved into a
configuration file making D-DooR easier to use. The configuration
"editor" is invoked by running DDOOR /C. In addition a number of other
configurable options have been added.
* Added support for alternate file directory -you can now put the DDOOR
data files in a separate directory if you are concerned about your RA
directory getting cluttered.
* Choose from 6 different bar graph styles.
* Instantly reset DDOOR_NA.DAT and DDOOR_ID.DAT from a menu driven
interface.
* Create Door-User reports
* Added three different colour schemes to the bulletins (including a 3-D
shadow effect!)
* D-DooR will keep track of how many days the stats cover (e.g. last 50
days etc.) The value is fully adjustable from the configuration editor.
* Fixed a bug in the percentage calculation.
Changes in v3.70
----------------
* Added a simple User Maintenance Utility in a separate program called
DDRUSER. This program will let you delete users from the D-DooR user
file (DDOOR_NA.DAT) based on the number of days since they last used a
door and/or the total number of doors they have used. It will also let
you reset the door-user file. (Please see DDOOR.DOC for more
information.)
* Added a new "dupe" feature which will detect if a door is entered more
than once in sequence by the same user. This will prevent the door and
user from being counted again. The dupe detection feature can be
temporarily disabled by using the /N switch (see the docs).
* Added a new switch, /R, which will reset all the Door counters to 0
(in DDOOR_ID.DAT).
* When new doors are added, the door counter should be set to 0. (Note:
Earlier versions of D-DooR required the counter had to be set to 1.)
* Added a new switch, /C, which causes a conditional compile. This
switch is intended to be used with the /G switch, and will cause D-DooR
to only generate bulletins if the door or user information has been
updated. This can be a real time-saver for sysops who like to generate
the bulletins "on-the-fly". (Please see DDOOR.DOC for more
information.)
* The percentages displayed in the bulletins have been expanded to one
decimal place -this gives a more accurate reading if two doors or users
are pretty close to each other.
Changes in v3.61
----------------
* D-DooR now supports an exclusion file, which allows you to specify up to
100 names or handles which you want excluded from the "Top-Door-User"
bulletin.
* Minor changes to the appearance of the bulletins.
* Faster sort routine.
* Added two new switches to D-DooR:
/S will include the sysop in the "Top Door User" bulletin.
/T will put the sysop's name in the header part of the bulletin.
(i.e. immediately below the system name)
* Fixed an annoying bug which would sometimes cause a "Divide by Zero
Error" if no DDOOR_NA.DAT file was present (i.e. if you were running D-
DooR for the first time.)
Changes in v3.50
----------------
* No changes, first public release.
