  9.   QUICK SETUP:

  11.       1) Create a directory to hold all DELUXE CHASE files.
  12.  
  13.       2) Unzip DCHASExx.ZIP into the the above directory.
  14.  
  15.       3) Modify the supplied DCHASE.CFG configuration file as follows:

  17.             ...........              Location of System FIle (See Below)
  18.             CODE 3 BBS               Your BBS Name
  19.             Everett                  Sysop's First Name
  20.             Stephens                 Sysop's Last name
  21.             NONE                     Full drive:\path\filename for Top Score
  22.                                      Bulletin, or NONE
  23.             7                        Sysop-defined difficulty (see below)

  27. C:\xxxx\PCBOARD.SYS              <- For PCBoard systems using PCBOARD.SYS

  40.      4) The sysop-defined difficulty factor is the chance that an extra
  41.         ammunition clip will appear in each screen.  It can be set from 3
  42.         to 8, where it represents the % x10 chance an ammo clip will appear.
  43.         For example, a 3 difficulty represents a 30% chance on each level
  44.         that a clip will appear.  A 7 represents a 70% chance.

  46.       5) Create a batch file or modify the DCHASE file supplied as follows:

  48.             ECHO off
  49.             CD\xxxx\DOORS\DCHASE      Location of Deluxe Chase Files
  50.             DCHASE DCHASE.CFG         EXE filename and CFG filename (Name
  51.                                       used in creating file in #3 above)
  52.             CD\xxxx

  55.        6) When running more than one node, be sure to supply a different
  56.           configuration name for each node (like NODE1.CFG, etc.), and/or
  57.           change the first entry in the .CFG to support environment
  58.           variables (as needed).

  60.        7) If running with Fossil-based multi-port boards add
  61.            /FD to the line containing the CFG name as follows:

  63.                          DCHASE DCHASE.CFG /FD
  64.  
  65.        8)  The files DCHASE10.DAT and INSTRUCT.DAT _MUST_ be present
  66.            in the execution directory and in unaltered form.

  73.       Registration displays your BBS name and registration number on the
  74.    opening menu as well as the elimination of the ShareWare delay built into
  75.    the opening screen. To register Deluxe Chase, please fill out the 
  76.    registration form (REGISTER.FRM) and mail it along with the registration 
  77.    fee to the name and address on the form.
  78.       The latest version of Deluxe Chase and other fine SAS door programs
  79.    are always available for download from Code 3 BBS. Remember, should you
