  22. CyBeR LORD is way more popular than the rest on our WAN and bbs, so I thought
  23. it'd be cool to send it off into the wild blue yonder...

  38. The premise for CyBeRLORD is pretty straightforward : an alien force has
  39. glommed one of the LORD parallel worlds, and turned it into a humanoid zoo.
  40. On the CyBER:2099 planet, there are manga creatures, mecha, Marvel:2099-ish
  41. villains, Asgard heroes and villains, secret bases, superhero teams HQs, etc.
  42. The basic LORD play is unaffected, but obviously you're gonna want to be into
  43. comics, cyberpunk, cybergothick etc. to get off on this one.

  45. We run an interLORD campaign across several LORDs including Trek LORD, Orient
  46. LORD, 'Eavy MeTAL LORD etc. so the CyBeRLORD was one of the many shadow worlds
  47. but it proved so popular that the others have now fallen relatively quiet.

  49. Here's the deal :

  51.         I'll send our player file, etc. so that the original 2099averse
  52.         dudes, wepaons and armour are available to play, plus a list of IGMs
  53.         and contact details for international LORD networking, and the 2099
  54.         script files and EVENT files in return for
  55.  
  56.         EITHER an uncrippled IGM worth 10 bucks US or less,
  57.  
  58.         OR a COMPLETE variant of LORD, e.g. US Civil War LORD, etc.

  60.         OR nifty IGM addon pascal stuff, coz I am a lazy shit

  65. The script files are for BBS based menu adventures, i.e. when you exit LORD
  66. on Wild Palms you have hidden Jeni Garth-esque menus to access based on hints
  67. in the game, so the whole network menu system for LORD is a part of the game,
  68. works like a charm, and allows a sysop to ADMINISTER, i.e. properly run a LORD
  69. campaign, coz it has stuff like suggestions, re-Naming items to get different
  70. effects, etc. plus complete stand-alone adventures.

  77. We went right over the top about LORD, and I guess that's normal because it
  78. is truly visionary, but I would like to say that we do NOT have an excess of
  79. R, X, XXX stuff in LORD - alienates the school age users, some is cool,
  80. but this isn't Legend of the Red Brothel..! (heh heh at least not that you'd
  81. know about to your face or anything heh heh )
