Cribbage Solitaire Instructions
The object of Cribbage Solitaire is to achieve the highest possible
score by creating the best hand while giving yourself the best crib. This
version of solitaire is played by being dealt 6 cards. You select the best
four to keep to score: pairs, 15's, straights and flushes. The two cards
you discard go into your crib. Then the top card is turned over. This card
is your fifth card for both scoring your hand and your crib. Your hand is
scored first then your crib. If you score above 110 then you will win an
extra game (if registered). This continues until all the cards in the
deck are used. The last round will only have 4 cards.
To move around on the playing area, insure that your number lock is one
and use your numeric key pad. To mark a group to move, position the the ">"
on the card to discard and press "SPACE BAR". Once both discards are
selected the hand is scored automatically. To quit, press "Q".
You will recieve 2 points for Pairs and sets that total to 15.
You will recieve 3 points for each straight.
You will recieve 5 points for a flush.
Scores earned on one day do not carry on to other days. The highest
score for that day will be displayed for all to see. You may stop at
anytime, but if you stop after having started a game without finishing it,
you will lose the chance to complete it. The number of games per day is
determined by your Sysop. If you stop before that number of games per day
has been played, you may continue that day anytime that month until all the
games have been played.
A total high score is calculated based upon the performance of all the
daily scores for that month. This game resets it's high score monthly.
