  7. CEVENT 1.0  5/2/93       Initial release.

  9.        1.1  5/9/93       Cleaned up several of the prompts.  Added the
  10.                          range limits to the date prompts.  Cevent would
  11.                          see to go into an endless loop but it is
  12.                          expecting a number in a specific range.
  13.  
  14. CEVENT 1.5  5/26/93      !!! CFG FILE CHANGE !!!
  15.                          I added the ability to only allow certain sec
  16.                          levels to be able to enter new listings.  You
  17.                          will need to edit your old cfg file(s) and
  18.                          insert an extra line in between lines 6 and 7.
  19.                          You may enter the proper sec level on this
  20.                          line.  Any user with the same or greater sec
  21.                          level will be able to enter new listings in the
  22.                          database.

  24.                          You will also need to add a 15th line to the
  25.                          CFG file(s).  Place the name of the file that
  26.                          you wish to have written to the text file when
  27.                          it is created.  This can be a short intro or
  28.                          description of the listings in Current Events.
  29.  
  30.                          Fixed a !BUG! that appeared when there were
  31.                          more than 15 listings in the database.  Rewrote
  32.                          or reworked several of the internal routines to
  33.                          improve the functionality of them.

  35. CEVENT 1.6  7/8/93       Due to many requests, this version of Current
  36.                          Events will print the output files two different
  37.                          ways.  The default order is first event-first
  38.                          print.  In other words, the event with the
  39.                          earliest date will be printed in the text file and
  40.                          bulletins first.  Events occurring later will
  41.                          appear at the end of the files.  If you wish to
  42.                          switch the order, create a file named "HI2LO.SRT"
  43.                          and place it in the CEVENT directory.  If CE
  44.                          locates this file, it will print the bulletins
  45.                          accordingly.

  47.                          If you enter the time as "00:00", the display
  48.                          files and view screen will show the time as "TBA".
  49.                          Just enter all "0"s when prompted for the time.

  51. CEVENT 1.7  9/20/93      Changed the [V]iew listings output screen so
  52.                          that listings are in sequential order.  The
  53.                          order may be controlled by the "LO2HI.SRT"
  54.                          file.  See description above.

  59. CEvent 1.8  12/27/93     Recompiled using the latest DoorFrame.

  61. CEVENT 2.0  9/11/94      Fixed the problem where the '0' byte files were
  62.                          disappearing.  They should stay in the door
  63.                          directory now.

  65.                          Added the ability to do LOCAL uploads.  Cevent
  66.                          will detect a LOCAL logon and handle the
  67.                          uploads accordingly.

  69.                          Added "GOODBYE.NO" for registered door
  70.                          installations.  If for some ungodly reason you
  71.                          wish to disable [G]oodbye from the user
  72.                          options, create a '0'byte file named
  73.                          "GOODBYE.NO" and place it in the door
  74.                          directory.

  76.                          If you are running WC! v4.x, create a '0'byte
  77.                          file named "WILDCAT.4" and place it in the door
  78.                          directory.  This will tell Cevent to write to
  79.                          the correct activity log name.

  81.                          Added "DONOR.CL" for registered doors.  If you
  82.                          have a user that has donated or purchased this
  83.                          door for your BBS, create this file and place
  84.                          it in the door directory.  It should be a
  85.                          straight ASCii file containing ony one line.
  86.                          Place the user's name on this line.

  88. CEVENT 2.1 12/11/94      Added "Contact Telephone" to the database.  if
  89.                          there is not telephone, the door will default
  90.                          to "N/A".  Be sure to place the new
  91.                          EVNTVIEW.xxx files from the SCREENS.ZIP in your
  92.                          "\CEVENT\SCREENS" directory.

  94. CEVENT 2.2 4/5/95                    !!! IMPORTANT !!!
  95.                          The format for the CFG file has been changed.
  96.                          If you do not use "WC" or "PCB" special coded
  97.                          bulletins, you must add two lines to the CFG
  98.                          file.  These are the clear screen and pause
  99.                          commands for your specific BBS systems.  See
  100.                          the SAMPLE.CFG for details.

  102.                          Added "Contact Telephone" to the event
  103.                          listings.  This requires a new "EVENTVIEW.xxx"
  104.                          screen.  Make sure that you overwrite the files
  105.                          in your "\SCREENS" directory with those in the
  106.                          SCREENS.ZIP found in this archive.

  108.                          Added various help screens throughout the Add
  109.                          listing process to simplify things for users.
  110.                          Also cleaned up quite a bit of code and added a
  111.                          few display feature to make door look a bit
  112.                          more professional.

  114.                          Added the SYSOP.CL file.  This is a simple
  115.                          straight ASCii file with one user name per
  116.                          line.  Any user that is listed in this file
  117.                          will have SysOp access in the door.  This will
  118.                          allow you to assign someone to help maintain
  119.                          the door.

  121.                          Added in a LOCAL download feature for SysOps.
  122.                          You will be prompted where the file should be
  123.                          copied.

  125.                          Added in the ability to [Q]uit during the Add
  126.                          listing process.  Users may abory by typeing
  127.                          "/QUIT" or simply "/Q" and any prompt that
  128.                          requires text input.  This does not work for
  129.                          the date and time routines as they require
  130.                          number input.

  132.                          The door will now accept HI-ASCii characters.
  133.                          This allows the non-US SysOps to use the
  134.                          different character sets.

  136. CEVENT 2.21  4/8/95      Fixed an "input past end error" if you had
  137.                          specified either "WC" or "PCB" bulletin types
  138.                          and did not add the two extra lines.  Sorry
  139.                          'bout dat.

  141. CEVENT 2.3  4/12/95      Fixed a bug reported by Wayne Howard related to
  142.                          downloading the text file.  It would go to a
  143.                          LOCAL download after a regular download.
