BB.CFG File Information:
For your registration key to work properly the first three
lines of your configuation file must be:
Sysop Name
BBS Name
Registration Key
The configuration file uses these verbs:
PDATE #
- Purge unused player accounts after # of days. The
default is 30 days.
Example:
PDATE 15 ;Purge unused accounts after 15 days.
TLSET (END)
- Allow you to make a script of time limit settings for
specified security levels. As many time limit settings
can be set as are required. The default for security
levels not specified is the users time remaining online.
Example:
TLSET ;Begin time limit script.
10 15 ;Security level 10 users have 15 minutes.
20 30 ;Security level 20 users have 30 minutes.
END ;End script.
MULTINODE
- Use this verb if you plan to use Boydian Blocks with
a multitasker like Desqview, OS/2, or Windows or with
multiple machines over a network in a multi-node
environment. SHARE.EXE must be loaded in order to use
Boydian Blocks in this manner.
NOTE: When using Boydian Blocks with a multitasker it
will auto-detect what tasker is being used. This game
is designed to be "multitasker friendly" and will
release unused "ticks" to the multitasker. The
multitasker found will be displayed in the lower right
corner where normally "* BOYDIAN BLOCKS *" would appear.
DSZ (ON or OFF)
- If ON Boydian Blocks will call DSZ for user downloading
of *.ICN and *.RIP files. If OFF users will be told
that the file BBPLR.ZIP is available for download. The
user MUST have the *.ICN files that are in BBPLR.ZIP
installed in thier terminal program's ICONS directory.
TERMPATH
- Path and filename of a RIP compatible terminal program
which can be downloaded by the user from Boydian Blocks
if DSZ is ON. If OFF or DSZ is not in use Boydian Blocks
will inform the users that a RIP compatible terminal
program must be used and that one is available from the
host BBS.
Example:
TERMPATH c:\files\ripterm.zip
STATUSBAR (ON or OFF)
- Enables or disables the status bar at the bottom of
the screen for systems that can display RIP locally.
Thank you for evaluating Boydian Blocks.
