ON-LINE INSTRUCTIONS
If your sysop has not registered Boydian Blocks and you enjoy the
game, please urge him to do so.
I recommend you have at least a 2400 baud modem, a RIP compatible
terminal program is required.
DESCRIPTION:
Boydian Blocks is a colorful solitaire board game in which you
try to get the highest score by matching the colors on each side of
the blocks. The more sides you match the more points you get. When
the game board is full, blocks that have all four sides matched are
removed. The game continues until no more blocks can be removed.
THE GAME SCREEN:
The game screen consists of the 11 x 9 game board, score box,
current block box, and the following buttons:
'<' - Rotate Left.
'>' - Rotate Right.
'I' - Instructions (this text).
'N' - Start a new game.
'S' - Save Game (registered version only).
'H' - Display high scores.
'R' - Redraws the screen.
'Q' - Quit Boydian Blocks and drop back to the BBS.
HOW TO PLAY:
The current block is displayed below the score box. Rotate
the block by clicking one of the rotate buttons or by pressing '<'
to rotate left or '>' to rotate right. Place the block by clicking
the desired location on the game board. Start the game by placing
the block anywhere on the game board. Score points by matching like
colors. The amount that you score per side and when the game board
is cleared is displayed in the center of the block. The game is
over when no more blocks can be removed from the board.
