  4. 04-11-95 ■ Version 1.05

  6.          . Fixed a problem where a BBS node could appear to hang after
  7.            a user entered a new BBS entry into the database.  (The node
  8.            did not time out, since it was not in a loop waiting for
  9.            input from the com port.)

  11.          . Changed the length of the BBS Name and Sysop Name fields
  12.            displayed on the Add/Edit Your BBS Info screen.  Increased the
  13.            display of the BBS Name from 25 to 30 characters, and decreased
  14.            the display of the Sysop Name field from 24 to 19 characters.
  15.            This will allow longer BBS Names to be displayed on this screen.

  17.          . Added a "Use Fossil Driver" option in IConfig and on the Sysop's
  18.            menu to allow the sysop to select whether a Fossil driver should
  19.            be used.  (The default is FALSE.)

  21.          . Removed the preliminary Digiboard, and Int 14 Redirection support,
  22.            since it was not being used at this time.  (Door input/output
  23.            code does not yet support these options.)

  28.          . Modified code to redraw the entire main menu when a user presses
  29.            ENTER.  (Previously, only the prompt was redrawn to reduce any
  30.            slowdowns.)  This will address a minor problem that occurs with
  31.            the menu not being drawn properly after a user CANCELS an XModem
  32.            or YModem download transfer.

  34.          . Added code to make sure users can't enter a value for "Lines"
  35.            greater than 65535.

  37.          . Modified the display for "One-Line" list displays.  When a
  38.            one-line list display is selected, the screen will now display
  39.            the BBS Name, Phone #1, Phone #1 Baud Rate, and Number of Lines.
  40.            (The previous display only contained the BBS Name and Phone #1.)

  42.          . Added support for BBS Informant to generate the ASCII text
  43.            download file in a temporary directory (TEMP0001, TEMP0002, etc),
  44.            to prevent network / multi-user conflicts.

  53.            This layout of this file will depend on the display format
  54.            currently selected.  If the user has a One-Line, Concise, or
  55.            Expanded format selected, the ASCII file will be sent in a
  56.            One-Line, Concise, or Expanded format, respectively.

  58.            The layout of this file is similar (almost identical) to the
  59.            display format used for an expanded listing.  A new option
  60.            ("D" to Download) is available from the main menu.  Protocols
  61.            supported are XModem, YModem, and ZModem.

  63.          . Added a new "Record Version" field to each database record
  64.            for internal tracking purposes.

  66.          . Added code to reorganize the database, converting the State/
  67.            Province field to a 4-character field.  This will allow
  68.            users with versions 1.00 through 1.03 to upgrade to version
  69.            1.04 successfully.  To upgrade an older version, simply
  70.            install the new program files and run the door from a BBS
  71.            node.  The database will be converted automatically.  (Note:
  72.            IConfig will issue an error message and will not run unless
  73.            the database has been properly converted!)

  75.          . Changed the State/Province field from a 2-character field
  76.            to a 4-character field for Canadian users.  (United States
  77.            users will still only use a 2-character field mask.)
  78.            Modified each of the display format listings to allow for
  79.            the extra space needed to display the 4-character string.

  81.          . Fixed a minor problem where the display was not being updated
  82.            correctly on the Sysop's multi-page Add/Edit display.  When
  83.            the database "wrapped" around to the first page, the first
  84.            entry in the database would be missing.  (This entry would
  85.            re-appear when ENTER was pressed.)

  90.          . Added support for a one-line display format (in addition to
  91.            the concise and expanded formats) to be used when the
  92.            [L]ist option is selected for listing existing entries.

  94.          . Added support for non-ANSI users to enter and use the
  95.            BBS Informant door.  (Standard ANSI users will not notice
  96.            any change, but non-ANSI users can now enter the door
  97.            successfully.)

  100.            screens.  Synchronized all the backdrops to start with the
  101.            same character at the same position in the upper left corner.

  123.            add/edit menu would disappear if the sysop pressed ENTER
  124.            when there were less than 15 entries in the database.

  126.          . Added an option to display an Expanded or Concise list of
  127.            BBS information with the List option is selected from the
  128.            main menu.  The pre-set default is Expanded, but sysops
  129.            can change the default setting by changing the "Display
  130.            Format" value from ICONFIG.EXE or from the Sysop's menu
  131.            inside the door.
