  3. This archive contains a patched version of BinkleyTerm v2.60 (now
  4. titled v2.60A) that fixes a few Y2K compatibility issues.  Included
  5. are:

  7.   BT.EXE ....... DOS version of the BinkleyTerm overlaid EXE.
  8.   SRC.ZIP ...... Updated C source code.
  9.   INCLUDE.ZIP .. Updated C header files.
  10.   README.TXT ... This file.

  12. The DOS executable should be a drop-in replacement.  No language,
  13. configuration or other changes should be required.
  14.  
  15. The Win32 and OS/2 versions are not included here, simply because I
  16. have no way of compiling them.  However, it would be a fairly simple
  17. job for anyone with an appropriate compiler to create a Win32 and OS/2
  18. version.  To compile the Y2K patched version of Binkley yourself,
  19. simply extract the original BSRC_260.ZIP file, and then overwrite the
  20. files contained in the SRC and INCLUDE directories with the ones
  21. contained here.

  23. This release has been tested a bit, and appears to be stable.  The
  24. changes were pretty minimal, though.  To see the changes, load the
  25. included source code into an editor, and search for "[Y2K]".
