[v2.4] On the lines that define the conferences associated with
particular Networks, there is an option to define whether the
conferences are Public or Reserved. This has now been expanded
to use F for those conferences that have FILES areas.
If you use the RIGHT cfg option, conference names whose length
is less than 13 characters, will be filled with dots (.) to
the length of the name field.
Added a new option to the CFG file that will force the
creation of SEPARATE CNFN files for each network encountered.
This will be in addition to the all encompassing CNFN file.
See DOC file for more details about this new option.
To make things a little more readable, we have added a blank
line between the body of the screen and the 'more' line.
As some of you have noticed, the display of the screens were
at times a little 'jerky', in that all the screens did not
display the same number of lines per screen. I BELIEVE we
have finally found the cause and fixed it.
10/07/93
[v2.3] Not seeing colors when displaying the CNFN file? Your eyes
were not playing tricks on you. It seems that during the
testing of v2.2 we turned off the generation of the @codes
and forgot to reactivate them when we released the program.
Sorry for the inconvenience....
10/05/93
[v2.2] New option added to the CFG file. You can define the number of
columns to use when displaying the conferneces. You can use a
3-column or 4-column display. If you have more the 9999
conferences, Columns will be forced to a 3-column display.
New option is COLUMNS=4
In order to accomodate the 4-column display we had to truncate
the conference description to 12 characters. In this version
we have expanded that to display 13 characters. In order to
accomodate this we had to move the "R" for restricted access
to the position adjacent to the conference number (on the
right) and made it lowercase so as to be less intrusive .
Now supports up to 99,999 conferences!
09/21/93
[v2.1] Increased the number of NETCONF entries from 300 to 500
The "R", used to signify a restricted conference, was not
being displayed.
09/16/93
[V2.0] If using NUMCOL=RIGHT in the CFG file to display the
conference numbers on the right side of the display, the
alignment was off by one column (cumulative.. off by 4
on last column).
If your Cnames file contained a Main Board conference (#0) and
you did NOT want it to be shown under any Network heading (ie:
not defined by a NETCONF entry in the CFG), the program had a
mind of it's own and forced the conference to be listed.
09/04/93
[v1.9] Out of string space errors have been corrected.
This version will handle up to 9999 conferneces.
Number of NETCONF entries in the CFG have been increased
to 300.
A new program is included in the package that must reside
in the same directory as ACNFN.EXE. It is called
ACNFNSRT.EXE.
Believe I have corrected the problem whereby, when logged
on locally you were required to hit the enter key twice
per prompt.
04/22/93
[v1.8] Changes made to accomodate the new version of PCBoard.
You MUST change your CFG file, line 4, to point to the
location of the CNAMES.@@@ file.
03/08/93
[v1.7] Increased the number of NDESC entries you may have in the
CFG file to 150.
BRUN45.EXE no longer required!
10/07/92
[v1.6] If the last network to be listed contained enough
conferneces to require more than one screen to display,
the program would display the conferences in non-stop mode.
06/28/92
[v1.5] There was a restriction on the number of NETWORKS that
could be used. It was set at 20 and if you used more than
that number it had a tendancy to react strangely <g>. The
number of NETWORKS allowed has been increased to 99. The
DOCS have been changed as well, since it stated Unlimited!
06/24/92
[v1.4] Numeric sorts were not displaying correctly.
06/20/92
[v1.3] Another attempt at handling more than 999 conferences. I
think i got it right this time <g> [Fingers crossed!]
06/19/92
[v1.2] If a conference number is NOT defined by a CONF or NETCONF
keyword, te conference will NOT be listed in the CNFN file.
06/18/92
[v1.1] Expanded nnumber of conferences that can be displayed.
Maximum number = 9999
