  1. If you have had some problems to setup WIZARD on your system, 
  2. and you have found a solution for this problem, please send
  3. me a short text about your problem and the solution. I will add
  4. this text to this FAQ in order to help new users to setup
  5. File Wizard !

  13. How to setup File Wizard from scratch.

  16. If you are not familiar with the german language, copy the file
  17. WIZ_ENG.CTL to the WIZARD.CTL file.
  18.  
  19. Load WIZARD.CTL in your prefered ASCII editor.
  20.  
  21. * First define the BBSTYPE and the complete path and name of the
  22.   configurationfile of your BBS software.
  23.  
  24. * Define a DEFAULTGROUP of 0 
  25.  
  26. * Check all pathnames for archive-programs
  27.  
  28. Now you can start File Wizard, all other settings in the WIZARD.CTL
  29. file (and there are some more !) are also more or less imrpotant.
  30. But to get a quick view inside File Wizard, you only need the above.

  32. Inside File Wizard you can press F1 to get a short help over the
  33. available functions.
