  673. The following conferences should be available on the K12Freeway,
  674. starting sometime within the next couple of days, barring technical
  675. glitches. They are in standard FIDO format and will be available
  676. singly or as a group from any BBS or distribution hub obtaining a
  677. network feed directly or indirectly from the Planet Connect
  678. satellites which currently serve North America and will be expanded
  679. to Europe and the Pacific Rim soon. Return uplink paths are the same
  680. as for all other Planet Connect traffic and do not involve passwords
  681. or other special arangements. The K12Freeway is an experimental peer
  682. group moderated network that is intended for public distribution. If
  683. successful, distribution will be expanded to the FIDO backbone and
  684. elsewhere beginning in 1995. The K12Freeway is unrelated to K12Net.
  685. These areas are distributed by Planet Connect for Planet Connect
  686. receiving systems and systems that they are feeding. All return mail
  687. goes back to Planet Connect's system for redistribution over the
  688. satellite and, when warranted, back into the fidonet backbone.
