PKZIP <tm> AV-code
──────────────────
To make sure that you have the ORIGINAL MTA package, you should check
that you received a ZIP-file with the following AV-code:
[---------------------------------------------------------------------]
Authentic files Verified! # NMT814
R.W. van Hoeven D.I.S.P. - H.Q.
[---------------------------------------------------------------------]
it is also possible that you receive a Ultra Compress II (UC2) archive
which should then contain the following seal (can be checked with the
UC2 utility USAFE.EXE):
[---------------------------------------------------------------------]
┌─────────────────────┐
╔═══╡ Seal Identification ╞═══════════════════════════════════════════╗
║ └─────────────────────┘ ║

╚═════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝
[---------------------------------------------------------------------]
All DISP-distribution sites will have the ORIGINAL files with this
AV-code available. Only then, excluded any hacks of the PKZIP 2.xx
AV-code, you can be sure that you have received the package as it was
distributed from DISP-HQ. The same goes even more for the UC2 files as
the authors claim that a hack is most unlikely.
Because BBS's can change the format of the files themselves, it is
possible that you have received this file in another format or without
the PKZIP <tm> AV-code listed above. In that case and only if you want
to make very sure that you receive 'the real thing', you should obtain
the archive at a DISP distribution BBS (you can send a message to
DISP-HQ for the nearest distribution BBS in your area).
Thanks, Robert W. van Hoeven
