Param Description
═══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════
No Parameters available at this time.
═══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════
Explanation
═══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════
Checks some JLUTIL Functions. Perhaps you should run it daily. Sometimes
JLUTIL fails and doesn't find an user. With this option you can check, if
JLUTIL works fine. If an error happens, JLUTIL will write the UserName,
which it can't find, into his LogFile and then you should run SYSOP.EXE
(Construct Index-File: Option C in the Main Menue of SYSOP15.EXE; O in
SYSOP16) to fix the problem. If no error happens, no entry will be made
into the LogFile. If JLUTIL doesn't find an User, GT fails too.
You can run this option daily or whenever you run THE JL's, because
it doesn't need too much time to do it's job, but can give you a notice
about a problem, which would be otherwise hidden and could cause problems.
Whenever THE JL's don't find an userrecord using the index files, GT
fails too. With the Kill-switch, you can simply kill all records, which
can't be handled properly. If you run this option a second time,
the records, which caused the problem should be killed and all should work
fine.
