┌────────────────────────────────┐
│ Option: PR PRINTING ROUTINES │
└────────────────────────────────┘
┌─Explanation────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┐
└────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┘
Why should i use this option, you will ask. There are the options
MO, CO and BA (Monitor Levels, Compile UserNameFile & JLBANK).
The Option Compile UserNameFile uses a File, which has a specific
format, which is explained in CO.HLP. With this option here, you
can use the informations in this File. Sometimes you want to
write a letter to the Users listened in the UserNameFile. Perhaps
an invitation to come to a UserMeeting or just an invoice. And
as you know, JLUTIL can be quite helpful, if you are running a
chargeable BBS. With IL (Inspect LogFile) you can make the
Invoices and with this option here, you can print the envelops
or the address labels. The records, which should be printed,
must be marked with an asteristic ('*') in the first column.
You can setup a File, which will be printed. Within this File
you can use the normal Variables (read MS.HLP) and the following:
┌────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┐
│ @RNA Receiver's Name │
│ @RST Receiver's Street │
│ @RCI Receiver's City │
│ @RCO Receiver's Country (this will available │
│ in the future) │
│ CHR(xx) somewhere in the Text. xx is a Number. │
│ eg: CHR(12) = FormFeed │
└────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┘
So you can make your own Reports, Envelops, Forms, etc. Look at
ENVELOPE.TXT and PAYUSER.BBS, if you want an example. If you don't
see any use of this option, please setup your own USER.BBS and
then your own REPORT.TXT. And now please run this option. You
will like it, because it is an easy way to print the informations
in the UserFile. And with MO (Monitor Levels) you can use the
with CO (COMPILE UserNameFile) compiled UserNameFile to monitor
the levels of your Users.
