IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR FMAIL 0.90/0.92 USERS
===============================================
If you are using FMail 0.90 or 0.92 and now want to start using
FMail 0.94, this is what you should do:
- Make backup copies of all your FMail config files. Also make
sure you have backup copies of the old FMail executables,
just in case you have to go back to that version.
- Replace the old FMAIL.EXE, FSETUP.EXE and FTOOLS.EXE by the
new executables.
- Run FSetup and enter the Area Manager. Now exit the Area
Manager and FSetup. Answer 'Y' to both 'Save changes'
questions.
For FMail 0.90 users only:
- You may want to add /O or /F to the FTools Maint command line
in your batch file(s). See FTools Maint ? for more
information.
- ATTENTION: The new Pack Manager uses a slightly different
format: each line has to start with a node number that is not
relying on default zone/net/node info. The optional VIA node
also has to be specified completely: zone:net/node[.point]. A
few examples (with 2:282/310 as the main node number):
Not allowed any more:
283/203 via 283/1
310 357 via 2:282/1
* via 1
These examples should now be entered like this:
2:283/203 via 2:283/1
2:282/310 357 via 2:282/1
* via 2:282/1
