Last Revision: 28-Feb-93
The CBM-128 echo rules are intended to define the bounds of the CBM-128
echo, and are in total agreement with FidoNet policy.
The "CBM-128" echo is a forum for the discussion of the Commodore C-128
and C-128D computers.
Please use your real name in this echo. If the bbs you post at forces
aliases/handles, please sign your real name in the message.
Appropriate Topics Include:
* C-128 Computers * C-128 Software
* C-128 Programming * C-128 Hardware
* C-128 Tips'N'Tricks * C-128 News'N'Reviews
Rules, Policy, Style, etc.:
* This is the CBM-128 echo - personal chit-chat, Amiga, IBM, etc.
are OFF-TOPIC and should be taken elsewhere.
* Please remember that this is an international echo. Messages that
are only of local interest do NOT belong here; they belong in your
local message areas.
* NO Profanity - think before you write - you can say it better.
Do Not quote profanity.
* NO Flames - try to be friendly - at least keep it civil. You're
entitled to your own opinion, but not to attack another person.
Agree to disagree.
* Help stamp out "quotaholism" - quote only that which ties to your
reply and is necessary for the continuity of the message thread.
* Keep "signatures" simple. No multi-line signatures, cute graphics,
superfulous material, etc., etc., etc....
* Let the Moderator moderate - Do Not reply to inappropriate messages.
Use netmail to correspond with the Moderator.
* Do not be excessively annoying. Do not be too easily annoyed.
* FidoNet forbids any illegal activities. Discussions relating to
pirating and all other illegal activities are not allowed.
* Questions, complaints, change proposals, about these rules should
be NetMailed to: Jim Speerbrecher (1:154/92.0)
* Violation of these rules and/or FidoNet policy will bring a written
reprimand from the Moderator. If the disruptive behavior continues,
provisions of FidoNet policy to have that user removed will be used.
The Moderator reserves the right to take part in any discussions on the
echo, without regard to his status as Moderator. When he is acting
specifically as Moderator, he will sign his message as:
