  1.       The CHILD_ABUSE EchoMail conference is intended to be an
  2. international forum for the discussion of all aspects of the 
  3. child abuse problem.
  4.  
  5. Some of the topics which are appropriate in this forum are:
  6.  
  7.      + Recovery
  8.      + Prevention
  9.      + Treatment
  10.      + Resources and Research
  11.      + Incest or R/A issues
  12.      + MPD
  13.  
  14. Rules of the CHILD_ABUSE Echomail Conference
  15.  
  16. 1.  Keep the discussion topics on the subject of child abuse.
  17.  
  18. 2.  No flames or personal attacks will be tolerated.  Discuss the
  19.     issues, not the personalities.
  20.  
  21. 3.  Handles are permitted and encouraged. Privacy is of paramount
  22.     importance, and handles allow us to easily be anonymous.
  23.  
  24. 4.  Because of the nature of Child Abuse, and the stigma that
  25.     goes with it, all participants MUST feel safe, and that they
  26.     will not be subject to further persucution by others.
  27.  
  28.     CROSS-POSTING messages from CHILD_ABUSE to any other echo
  29.     FOR ANY REASON is expressly forbidden. The _ONLY_ exception
  30.     is when both the person writing the message and the person to
  31.     whom the message is addressed give their written consent.
  32.  
  33.     Any mail being cross-posted _INTO_  the CHILD_ABUSE echo must
  34.     follow these same rules.
  35.  
  36. 5.  This conference may NOT be ported to any other network's
  37.     echomail system without permission of the Moderator of
  38.     record.
  39.  
  40. 6.  Moderator's decisions are FINAL. If you feel the need to discuss
  41.     a moderator's decision, take it to Netmail. They are NOT to be
  42.     discussed in the echo.
