  1.  An International Conference for the discussion of Communications.
  2.  Appropriate topics include;   Modems and protocols, Comm pgms,
  3.  Terminal emulation and BBS software, Telephone equipment &
  4.  services, Fax devices and software.
  5.  The discussion is primarily of a technical nature.  No advacacy of
  6.  My widget is better than your widget.  Discussions of policy and
  7.  procedures of other bodies or agencies will be requested to move
  8.  the discussion to a more appropriate echo area, or NetMail.
  9.  COMM Echo Tech, a beginners introduction to the world of comm and
  10.  its complex terminology, is featured tri-monthly (10/20/EOM).

  25. nothing below shall dilute Fidonet policy-
  26.     o All discussions regarding hardware/software shall be of a
  27.       technical nature only.  No "My-Widget-Can-Beat-Your-Widget" msgs.
  28.       Departures from this shall be considered annoying behavior.
  29.     o speak politely-no flames or obscenities; do *not* quote filth
  30.     o quote only that which ties to your reply--stop QUOTAHOLISM
  31.     o advertising: only topic related announcement allowed
  32.     o submit all announcements of products/services to the moderator
  33.     o no unsolicited BBS ads
  34.     o the posting of "test" msgs is considered annoying behavior
  35.     o don't reply to inappropriate messages, leave it to the moderator
  36.     o chatting: move non topical communications talk to netmail
  37.     o limit announcements to one per fortnight
  38.     o use netmail for corresponding to the moderator; don't moderate
  39.     o don't use foreign languages, exc: recognized Intn'l phrases
  40.     o don't type in all upper case unless your equipment can't do lower
  41.     o don't use multi-line signatures
  42.     o no high-order ASCII characters-(>128) or ASCII CTRL codes
  43.     o telephone numbers: don't forget the country and area code
