  1. The steps which have an '*' in front of them are for those SysOps who use a
  2. program to import/export messages.  The only step that is used by all who
  3. use CP-Conf4 is step 3.

  5.  
  6. *1.  Instruct your TOSSER to create an AREAS.BBS file.
  7.  
  8. *2.  Perform the SCAN function of your tossing program.
  9.      (This will insure all messages created since your last SCAN have been
  10.       processed.)
  11.  
  12.  3.  Use CP-Conf to make configuration changes.
  13.  
  14. *4.  If the previously defined NETMAIL area was moved, use the configuration
  15.      program of your TOSSER to reflect that change.
  16.  
  17. *5.  Instruct your TOSSER to import the changed AREAS.BBS file.
  18.  
  19. *6.  Instruct your TOSSER to perform the HIGHMSG number update option.
  20.  
  21.  
  22. That's about it.

  24. NOTE:  ALWAYS MAKE A BACKUP OF DATAFILES PRIOR TO MAKING CHANGES TO THEM!!!
