AutoPlus AutoMessanger

Welcome! This is the sysop documentation for AutoPlus version 2.0.
The main purpose of Autoplus is to allow your users to leave
comments for the caller after them. With the release of version
2.0 of Autoplus I have decided to include the source code for the
sole purpose of allowing my fellow sysops to keep from having to
see those pestering by-lines, 30 second waits, and to make it
possible for the sysop to customize this PPE as they see fit. I
do not ask for donations of any kind, though I will accept them
and they will speed the process of my upgrading of Autoplus.
However, I do ask that you do not distribute modified source code
in any way whatsoever. Enjoy!

How to install AutoPlus 2.0 into PCBoard
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
(This installation uses the C: Drive and thinks you unzipped
the AutoPlus archive into the C:\PCB\AUTOPLUS directory)
1) Load PCBSETUP.EXE
2) Select B from the Main Menu, then select D from the next menu
3) Use the cursor keys to select: Logon Script Quest.
4) Press F2
5) After it loads PCBEdit, on the next available line in the
file, enter the following line:
!C:\PCB\AUTOPLUS\AUTOVIEW.PPE
6) Exit PCBEdit, saving the file
7) Return to the Main Menu of PCBSetup
8) Press B from the Main Menu, then select B from the next menu
9) Use the cursor keys to select: Default CMD.LST File
10) Press F2
11) Press Alt-I to insert a new command
12) Under the "Command" column, enter "G", and under the path
column (or the last column on the right) enter
"C:\PCB\AUTOPLUS\AUTOPLUS.PPE"
13) Exit PCBSetup, saving your changes.
14) That's It!
!! In case your AUTOM.PLS file is deleted !!
Autoplus WILL NOT function unless there is an automessage file
already on hand for use. A default file is included. It can be
changed as any automessage can with the AUTOPLUS.PPE. However,
just in case your AUTOM.PLS file is lost, here is the format:
Automessage By: FIRST LAST On: 00-00-00
Quote: NO Quoted: NONE
---------------------------------------
Default Line 1
Default Line 2
Default Line 3
Default Line 4
Default Line 5
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Note: Although @X-- color codes CAN be used in an automessage, a
color code is added at the first of each line by the AUTOVIEW.PPE
program. You can change your default display colors by editing
and then re-compiling that program. You can also do the same with
the default display colors in the AUTOPLUS.PPE program
