  3. 1-Edit 2.76 Changes

  6. This version of 1-Edit was created to kill a bug that cause the program
  7. to crash when used with QuickBBS 2.76 Gamma-2 or with 2.76 beta-10 and
  8. up.  All functions are identical to 1-Edit 2.75 -- so I haven't even
  9. changed the .DOC file to say "2.76".

  11. One change you may notice, though, is that the .EXE file is much
  12. smaller.  This is no big trick on my part -- I simply ran the thing
  13. through PkLite.  If you have problems with it, please feel free to
  14. uncompress it.  Uncompressed file size is about 105K.

  16. This version of 1-Edit is fully usable with QuickBBS 2.75, also.  The
  17. structure changes that were made for Quick 2.76 don't affect any of the
  18. editing capabilities of this program.  And now that 1-Edit doesn't
  19. crash, it can be used with either version of QuickBBS.

  21. However, a warning!  Until QuickBBS 2.76 is fully released there is
  22. always a chance of more structure changes.  If that happens (the
  23. QuickBBS structures change again), this version may no longer be
  24. compatible.  So please watch the QuickBBS changes carefully until 2.76
  25. is fully released.
