INSTRUCTIONS
Make sure you run this file in the same directory where you
installed the ZIPSearch program. It will write your code to
a file called "Serial#.txt". The info in this new file is a
little messy for reasons that would bore you, but it shouldn't
pose any problems.
You'll find some combination of numbers, letters, and symbols
between the text arrows ( -------> <------- ) in that
file. Use the FIRST TWELVE DIGITS that you see between these
arrows, reading left to right. Disregard any spaces, letter, or
funky ascii characters/symbols. Also disregard any ADDITIONAL
digits that you see AFTER (to the right of) the 12th digit.
Example___Example___Example
********************************************************
-------> .%y_ 12345678^ 9012 .000001 y8<-------
corresponds to a code of: 123456789012
********************************************************
NOTES:
Once the program has expired, it tends to act pretty wierd and
unpredictably when it starts up and yells at you to register.
I purposely expired the program a couple times and found it
difficult to reg the thing after expiration, for numerous reasons
such as the program not enabling the code entry edit box, giving
"can't find file" type messages, not showing the edit box, hanging
when swithching away from the nag screen, etc.
If you run into this problem then it's probably best to reinstall
the program, which you can do by deleting all the files in the
program dir, along with 2 associated INI files in the Windows dir
(Sb30.ini & Psinizip.ini), then rerunning the install program.
Also, you should know that the codes are dependent upon the date
of installation (among other things). So if you reinstall the
program, you'll need to generate a new code.
