  49. │║│ This is a crack fix for a crack I released back in January of this     │║│
  50. │║│ year. After patching the program with my original scan patcher (from   │║│
  51. │║│ pc_fundm.zip - included), run the additional crack, fundmfix.com in    │║│
  52. │║│ the program directory to void the CRC checking. which eventually leads │║│
  53. │║│ to "Executable is corrupt....etc.                                      │║│
  54. │║│                                                                        │║│
  55. │║│ Note that I had NO WAY of testing this at all. The program simply      │║│
  56. │║│ never bombed on me with the message. I went over a disassembly with    │║│
  57. │║│ a fine comb and am fairly certain I have discovered the logic behind   │║│
  58. │║│ the checking, and have fixed it. This crack does NOT apply to v10.x    │║│
  59. │║│ (16 bit). While I know the string data for the message is in that one  │║│
  60. │║│ too, I found no code that utilized it.                                 │║│
  61. │║│                                                                        │║│
  62. │║│ Greetings to Hey You and -Reds- for discovering this problem with the  │║│
  63. │║│ crack. The CRC check is only triggered after many conditions are met,  │║│
  64. │║│ thus the long period from crack-release to crack-fix-release.          │║│
  65. │║│                                                                        │║│
  66. │║│ I'd like some feedback on this one, as I am releasing with no testing  │║│
  67. │║│ being done. Also, if anyone has actually had the 16 bit version bomb   │║│
  68. │║│ on them, I'd like to know that too.                                    │║│
