  32. ││      Ok, here it is - Serial/Unlock code For XING MPEG Player 3.30.      ││
  33. ││      I would have released this one earlier, but I screw up. I lost the  ││
  34. ││      original info I had when I got right unlocking code and I coulnd't  ││
  35. ││      get it anymore, because even if I uninstalled and reinstalled Xing  ││
  36. ││      it will still remember that it has already been registered, so      ││
  37. ││      I coulnd't reinstall it and crack it again.                         ││
  38. ││                                                                          ││
  39. ││      Ok, my mistake, but hey I'm just human! :)                          ││
  40. ││                                                                          ││
  41. ││      If anyone knows how to compeletely uninstall this one (or some      ││
  42. ││      other program that uses RSAGENT protection - don't know do they     ││
  43. ││      all remember that they have been registered already) or knows how   ││
  44. ││      to make it believe it isn't registerd already then contact me.      ││
  45. ││                                                                          ││
  46. ││        Ok, follow these instructions *carefully* and do *exactly* as     ││
  47. ││        I told You to do.                                                 ││
  48. ││                                                                          ││
  49. ││        1. Ok, you should have XingMPEG Player installed and you see      ││
  50. ││           that nag screen which gives you two choices: Register and      ││
  51. ││           Evaluate.                                                      ││
  52. ││                                                                          ││
  53. ││        2. Choose Register and fill the form with any info you like       ││
  54. ││           and click next to continue (at this point it might tell you    ││
  55. ││           if you haven't fill out all necessary fields).                 ││
  56. ││                                                                          ││
  57. ││        3. Ok, now just keep clicking next until you get choice to        ││
  58. ││           choose how to register. Choose Check (by mail order) and       ││
  59. ││           don't fill out *any* credit card info!                         ││
  60. ││                                                                          ││
  61. ││        4. Everything going ok? If so then just keep clicking next until  ││
  62. ││           you get Print order form window. Just click Done and Finish    ││
  63. ││           and Quit XingMPEG Player.                                      ││
  64. ││                                                                          ││
  65. ││        5. Ok now comes the tricky part! First start Xing MPEG Player     ││
  66. ││           and you should see that nag screen which asks you to buy or    ││
  67. ││           try. Don't do anything! Read on!                               ││
  68. ││                                                                          ││
  69. ││           Go to C:\WINDOWS-directory (or where ever you have Windows     ││
  70. ││           installed and find file called:                                ││
  71. ││                                                                          ││
  72. ││             rsagent.ini                                                  ││
  73. ││                                                                          ││
  74. ││           Open it with text editor like notepad and find line:           ││
  75. ││                                                                          ││
  76. ││             personalCode=1234567890                                      ││
  77. ││                                                                          ││
  78. ││           Of course you have different numbers.                          ││
  79. ││           Replace those numbers you have with these:                     ││
  80. ││                                                                          ││
  81. ││             4237348741                                                   ││
  82. ││                                                                          ││
  83. ││           So you will end up having file exactly the same as you had     ││
  84. ││           except that now you have line:                                 ││
  85. ││                                                                          ││
  86. ││           personalCode=4237348741                                        ││

  88. ││           instead having some other personalCode. Ok now exit notepad    ││
  89. ││           or what ever text editor you are using and save changes!       ││
  90. ││                                                                          ││
  91. ││        6. Now do you still have that nag screen? You should have! You    ││
  92. ││           have to edit rsagent.ini while that Buy Now/Try First nag      ││
  93. ││           screen is on. You can't do it later or earlier! Ok, now choose ││
  94. ││           buy now and you should have screen saying that it is waiting   ││
  95. ││           for unlocking code (you see the code you replaced in           ││
  96. ││           rsagent.ini in one box, but you can't change that). Now use    ││
  97. ││           this key to unlock the program:                                ││

  101. ││           And XingMPEG Player is registered!!!                           ││

  103. ││      I just didn't want to (read I didn't know :) to patch this one.     ││
  104. ││      Besides it's always better to use serial/unlock code than patch     ││
  105. ││      the program (usually patch works only for current version - this    ││
  106. ││      one could work for future releases too).                            ││
