This is how I buildt mine.
I skipped the Pic holder and mounted an ISO Slot and a switch so I
could program the Chip mounted on 1 or 2 Pic SmartCards.
Iso slot with 16 connectors recommended.
Power taken from Floppy connector. Said not to work, but works for me.

This is not required anymore. Use a single switch and two resistors.
The old Switch soloution

I had to make this Switch double when using 2 Pic software and two
old Pics.
