  8.     This patch fixes an privacy related issues with BlackWidow 
  9.     version 3.61. A lot of users were concerned about the on-line 
  10.     check the program makes to our webserver in order to determine 
  11.     whether you are a genuine registered user or not. This patch 
  12.     removes the on-line check.   
  13.  
  14.     This patch does not crack BlackWidow. There's no need to... If 
  15.     you would like a registration number, just mail us and we'll give 
  16.     you a free one. We may be tough guys, but we're also nice guys.

  18.     Before you apply the patch, please make sure you have BlackWidow 
  19.     version 3.61. You can verify the version number in the BlackWidow
  20.     about screen. If you have an earlier version you can freely 
  21.     upgrade to version 3.61.

  23.     To apply the patch, move or copy the file bw361fix.com into the
  24.     BlackWidow directory and run it. The following two files are 
  25.     changed:
  26.         BlackWidow.exe    (684.032 bytes)
  27.         _BlackWidow.exe   (653.824 bytes)
