  7. Making a valid reg file for
  8. the stupid BrainTree
  9. Reg-O-Matic is really really
  10. easy, once I got the hang of
  11. it .. oh yeah!

  14. How to register Calendar+ :
  15.  
  16. (overwrite all existing files)
  17.  
  18. Copy these files to your system
  19. directory (e.g. c:\windows\system)
  20. 1. zfp0j9.vbx
  21. 2. gvcvkcq.vxd
  22.  
  23. Copy this file to your windows
  24. directory (e.g. c:\windows)
  25. 1. mjjusvy.spd
  26.  
  27. Copy this file to the Notepads+ directory
  28. (e.g. c:\program files\Jsoft Consulting\Calendar+)
  29. 1. ypqxpx3f.x03
  30.  
  31. Now run Calendar+ and the program is
  32. registered.  But wait!  It's registered to
  33. unknown, unknown!
  34.  
  35. Don't panic!  Your mum/boss won't find out!
  36.  
  37. Follow these instructions :
  38.  
  39. Exit Calendar+
  40.  
  41. 1.  Fire up windows registry editor
  42. click on start
  43. click on run ...
  44. type    regedit
  45.  
  46. 2.  You should be in the registry editor
  47. (hopefully ;P)
  48. Double click on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
  49. Double click on SOFTWARE
  50. Double click on Jsoft Consulting
  51. Double click on Calendar+
  52. Double click on 1.05.00
  53.  
  54. Click on Edit|New|String Value
  55. Now, you should see "New Value #1" on the
  56.         right panel window
  57. Click on Edit|Rename and type the magic word:
  58.         Name
  59. Press the ENTER key
  60. Double click on Name, and a window will
  61.         pop up and prompts you for a Value Data
  62. Okay, do your job, spell your name correctly.
  63. Then click ok.

  65. Click on Edit|New|String Value again
  66. Do what you've done, but this time, the
  67. magic word is:
  68.         Company
  69. Remember to press the ENTER key,
  70. double click on Company and spell your
  71. company correctly.

  73. The next time you run Calendar+,
  74. you can tell your mum/boss that
  75. you've used your hard earn cash to
  76. buy that program!

  83. with SpeedMail which also uses BrainTree
  84. Reg-O-Matic)
