  2. Version 2.0 is the first update since the original release of ver 1.5
  3. This version is meant to provide 4 new features, and fix some bugs.
  4.  
  5. New features:        New field for the source of the recipe.  This allows
  6.                      you to use CC as a cross-reference for all of your
  7.                      recipes.
  8.  
  9.                      Index Cards.  Almost any size index card can now be
  10.                      printed.
  11.  
  12.                      Multiple recipe sets allows you to separate recipes
  13.                      into different directories.
  14.  
  15.                      Now checks for duplicate recipe titles when importing.
  16.  
  17. Problems in ver 1.5: There was no way to change the serving size without
  18.                      adjusting all of the ingredients.  This is necessary
  19.                      if you add a recipe, and then find that it made more
  20.                      or less than you anticipated.
  21.  
  22.                      If you imported a recipe with 49 or more ingredients,
  23.                      the edit & delete functions would not work. FIXED
  24.  
  25.                      If you imported a large file (over 150 recipes,) you
  26.                      might have gotten an out of memory error. FIXED
  27.  
  28.                      Category  & Ingredient maintenance had a problem
  29.                      changing from upper to lower case, and vv.  FIXED

  83.     You may simply copy all of the files onto a hard or floppy disk if
  84.     you are installing this for the first time.  If you have a previous
  85.     version, or you just want to use the automatic installation, use
  86.     one of the following batch files.   This will not replace any of
  87.     your existing recipes with the new ones.  If you want to use the
  88.     new recipes, export them from this disk to another disk.  Then
  89.     import them in with your existing recipes.

  91.     For HARD DRIVE use, type HINSTALL C:  (if C is your hard drive).
  92.     For FLOP DRIVE use, type FINSTALL B:  (if B is your floppy drive).

  109.    **  If you plan to store hundreds & hundreds of recipes, the program
  110.        will run faster if you split the recipes up into different recipe
  111.        sets that CC now supports.
  112.  
  113.    **  When entering recipes like side dishes, and it would go well with
  114.        say chicken,  add an ingredient -> 'serve with chicken'.
  115.        This way, if we want to know what would go well with chicken,
  116.        we do a find on 'serve with chicken' !
  117.  
  118.    **  When entering ingredients, always put the main ingredient name first.
  119.        If you are entering DICED ONIONS,  enter it   ONIONS - DICED.  This
  120.        way CC can find all recipes with any kind of onions.
  121.  
  122.    **  If you notice that you have some ingredients in your ingredient list
  123.        that are very similar, and you would like make them the same. For
  124.        example:  ONIONS - DICED  &   ONIONS - CHOPPED.
  125.        Use the utilities: Category Maintenance, and change the name of one
  126.        of the ingredients to the other.  This will rename that ingredient
  127.        in the corresponding recipes also.

  129.    **  When entering ingredients, if you hit enter in the empty field, a
  130.        handy pick-list of ingredients will appear.  This list is helpful
  131.        to see how you entered a previos ingredient (eg EGGS or EGG) .

  135.    **  Look at the Sample.Txt file if you wish to import recipe files
  136.        with no certain format.  You can NOT just import any ASCII file
  137.        you happen to pull off a bulletin board and import it, it must be
  138.        formatted in the same way as the sample file is.  Compu-Chef will
  139.        be able to import recipes from many other cooking programs auto-
  140.        matically, so send in the REGISTRATION, to get the latest version!
  141.  
  142.    **  You don't have to enter Tbsp, tsp, or cup for these 3 unit's of
  143.        measurement, you can enter T, t, and c respectively, and Compu-Chef
  144.        will automatically covert to Tbsp, tsp, or cup.  This is for both
  145.        importing and while entering a recipe.

  147.    **  You can clean out and delete your entire recipe file by typing:
  148.  
  149.        CC CLEAN    **WARNING**   This will permanently delete all
  150.                                  recipe information - so be sure.

  229.     Now you can delete a group of recipes from the utility menu.  This
  230.     option will delete whatever recipes you are currently viewing.  So
  231.     if you want to delete all of your recipes from the DESSERT category,
  232.     simply find your desert recipes and delete them from the utility menu.
