  2. under the heading 'DR. OTTO STROVE', we read how this astrophysicist 
  3. assisted Frank Drake in establishing Project OZMA, and it's very 
  4. mysterious conclusion:

  6. "...the project began its search by focusing on the star TAUCETI.  
  7. According to claims made at the time, AS SOON AS the project got 
  8. underway STRONG INTELLIGENT SIGNALS were picked up, leaving all the 
  9. scientists stunned.

  11. "Abruptly, Dr. Strove then declared Project OZMA had been shut down, 
  12. and commented that there was no sensible purpose for listening to 
  13. messages from another world."     
  14. [Note: Or, was this merely an 'excuse' used to keep the Project and 
  15. it's findings SECRET?  If not, then Dr. Strove would seem to have an 
  16. extremely warped idea about what is or isn't"sensible" - Branton]
