  1. **Steps for completing installation:**

  3. Note: If you have not installed C-Script into the default directory (c:\C-Script), 
  4. please substitute c:\C-Script in the help files, and all other files where it is mentioned, for 
  5. your directory. You may also need to change the DCC, LOG, FSERVE, and all other directories in 
  6. C-Script to your directory.
  7.  
  8. **Windows 95 or Win32 users (32-bit. File: C-Script.exe)**
  9. 1. Copy mirc32.exe to c:\C-Script
  10. 2. Copy mirc.hlp to c:\C-Script
  11. 3. Copy C-Script.exe to c:\C-Script
  12. 4. (Optional) Make a shortcut for C-Script, C-BoT, and BibleBot,
  13. using the C-Script.ico, C-BoT.ico, and B-BoT.ico files.
  14. 5. Read either the C-Script.txt or C-Script.doc located in c:\C-Script\Help
  15. (The C-Script.doc is recommended if you have a text viewer that supports .doc files)

  17. **Windows users (16-bit. File: C-Script.exe)**
  18. 1. Copy mirc.exe to c:\C-Script
  19. 2. Copy mirc.hlp to c:\C-Script
  20. 3. Copy C-Script.exe to c:\C-Script
  21. 4. (Optional) Make a program group, and program item for C-Script, C-BoT, and BibleBot,
  22. using the C-Script.ico, C-BoT.ico, and B-BoT.ico files.
  23. 5. (If you want to run the bots) Copy 6 MORE mirc.exe's into the c:\C-Script directory
  24. MAKING SURE the filenames are: mirc1.exe mirc2.exe mirc3.exe mirc4.exe mirc5.exe and mirc6.exe.
  25. Along with YOUR copy of mirc.exe you should now have *7* copies of mIRC in the c:\C-Script 
  26. directory.
  27. 6. Read either the C-Script.txt or C-Script.doc located in c:\C-Script\Help
  28. (The C-Script.doc is recommended if you have a text viewer that supports .doc files)

  56. Many people have told me they didn't know that C-Script came with a
  57. readme file. It does. C-Script.txt is the readme in text format.
  58. It is suggested that you view the C-Script.doc however if you have
  59. a text editor that can view .doc files. The .doc looks a lot better ;)
